Good fan at a good price

The fan was at a good price. The installation was straight forward. The operation of the fan is quiet. When you are putting the screws on the fan cover that goes up against the electric box, be careful not to accidentally drop a screw into he fan motor housing! It might be a good idea to cover the slots temporarily with tape, just in case

Sleek and classic look

The fan is very simple to assemble and almost as easy to install on the ceiling. It looks very sleek and classic with not to many embellishments and would fit with most styles.

Good fan

The AirPro Builder Fan 52-in Matte Black Indoor Ceiling Fan (5-Blade) is a great ceiling fan. The blades create a strong draft that feels good and cools the area well.

Installation had difficulties but looks nice

This fan replaced a 35 year old fan that was tired. Installation was more of a pain than it needed to be. The instruction manual is fairly detailed initially, but skips critical steps. Namely, it makes no mention of the rubber inserts around the motor housing that are marked with a paper insert "remove before use". They are installed via screws, so it's easy to miss. Threading the hanging pin is complicated by the wiring harness that you need to worm out of the way and hope you don't pinch anything. The canopy does not provide much room for the wiring harness and wire nuts, and trying to manipulate it as directed in the manual to keep the live and neutral wires on opposite sides of the outlet was difficult at best. One of the finishing screws near the top slipped from my grip and fell perfectly in a hole on top of the motor housing. Since the fan was already wired up I have no way to retrieve the screw. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be causing any rattling although I wish it hadn't fallen inside in the first place.

Very easy to install and runs very quiet

I love this fan it’s beautiful and whisper quiet. The directions were straightforward and the guide for the sloped ceiling was very helpful. The fan looks classy and works great.

Easy to install!

I chose the Progress Lighting AirPlus 52" fan to replace the builder quality fan in my office. I really like the Brushed Nickel color and the modern look of the fan blades. You can choose between a solid grey or wood look design on the blades. Assembly is easy and takes about 40 minutes. Be sure to note the wiring of your old fan. The wires for this fan are black white and blue with blue being the light. This fan does not come with a light kit. If you plan to install one, make sure it has the plastic connectors as the fan does and not the wire nuts because the fan wires are fairly short and would be difficult to wire up if you cut off the plastic connectors. I will be taking back the light kit I bought because it is not compatible. The fan operates smoothly with no wobble and I did not need to use the blade weights. I am quite satisfied with the fan and it looks so much better in my office than the old one.

Moves a ton of air! Super quiet

Super easy to install..took about 30 minutes and would have been quicker if I didn't forget the canopy, doh!

Lightweight yet sturdy

This is a really nice, well-made fan, the first thing I noticed are the fan blades are thicker than your normal fan blade just by a little bit but it's enough to really feel the difference they don't bend or flex not sure what they're made out of, but almost feels like real wood although I know it's not cuz they're too light, but it's a good sturdy material. The brushed nickel finish is super nice. Everything you need for the installation was there and installation was flawless and easy the directions were simple and easy to follow and I found the installation to take somewhere in the range of 30 to 45 minutes. For the installation all I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver and a pair of wire strippers. I've seen and installed a lot of ceiling fans this one is much lighter than the other ones and I don't mean that in a bad way, but some of them have a super heavy motor this one did not, it was quiet and moved a lot of air. So if you're looking for a ceiling fan that's lightweight yet effective at moving air then this is it. I would definitely recommend this ceiling fan. I think you'll find it to be a good fit for any decor.

Room upgrade

First off with and ceiling fan install, buy long screws. This will come in handy if you are installing this in old work or a house with more than one owner. From opening the box to flipping the switch is about 1 - 1 1/2 hrs. Placing the mount was easy but wish it had a hook or place to hold the fan body when wiring for flush mount. When putting the fan blades together I notices that rubber bushings were not used on the blade side as vibration isolators. Everything went together very easy and the screw keepers in the fan arms worked great. Use a long screw driver to install the fan blades to the motor, if you use a combo/flipable one it might scratch The housing. The amount of wire you get with the fan motor is great. If I wanted I could add a box in the attic in the rafters with out a problem. Don't install this in a shallow box or one that doesn't have some depth to it. You need the room to tuck the wires in, and if you flush mount it you better be ready to one hand everything. The look, form and function is great, very few gripes with the overall process. The quality is in the fan motor/body, other places you can tell they just made due. I am happy with this fan and look forward to many years of use.

Moves Air! Easy Install!

The 52" fan moves a lot of air. It has a modern style that fits easily into many rooms. It is wired for a lighting kit to be added if desired. Very easy to install.

NICE AIR MOVEMENT

This fan comes packaged tightly in its box so if you have it shipped, it should be safe. The blades have two different designs to choose from when installing or if you want to change your look. The fan is simple to install, just like all other fans on the market. The brushed nickel color is beautiful and will go with different types of decor. Once installed, this fan moves plenty of air and you choose the speed by pulling the chain, there is no remote with this fan but it can be used with an aftermarket remote if you choose.

Great Look

I was looking for a ceiling fan for my garage and didn't want a light kit nor did I want something that looked like the typical wood blades. I found this Air Pro Brushed Nickel fan I was loved the look. The fan comes with a usual ceiling fan wiring for install. From tip to base the brushed nickel is evident. The blades are wood but the finish on the blades is a basic silver or flip them over and its a grey wood grain. It sets up well and looks great in the space.

Perfect indoor fan for a large room

Perfect indoor fan for a large room , Which I’m gonna use in my garage, which is 400 ft.². It’s just it’s easy enough to install complete with all the hardware included and I’m hooking it up to the light switch so it will go on and off with the garage light. It’s a very simple basic fan, price point is perfect, easy to install, did not need an electrician, came with a downrod and maybe one of these days I will install a light kit, but not now. I’m glad we got this fan so that I can work in the garage during the hot summer time.

Great Looking Fan!

This is a very sleek, modern looking fan. There are 5 - 52" blades coated in a Brushed Nickel finish. The blades are reversable. One side is plain, the other a wood finish. This fan has 3 speeds, and the blades can go in both directions Clockwise for cooling in the Summer, and Counterclockwise for circulating the warm air in the winter. You can add a light if you want to. This fan turns on by a Pull Cord. There is no remote control or need to wire it to a switch. This was a plus for us. This fan hangs 10.5" from the ceiling. It wasn't easy to find that info when ordering it. The directions were a little lacking. For example, on the fan motor there is a tab that says remove rubber packing mounts before installing. There is no mention of that anywhere in the instructions. We hadn't seen it since we left the plastic on to reduce getting our fingerprints all over the motor. Easy to unscrew after we installed it, but why wasn't that in the instruction? When installing the blades, there are quite a few holes that they could be screwed into, but the instructions don't ever say which. Looking closely at the diagram, we figured it out, but once again, it could have been mentioned in the instructions. Overall, not hard to install. It's easier with two people. There is one thing I am disappointed about in this otherwise great looking fan. At where of the Downrod Assembly and Fan Motor Assembly connect, there is a Black Plastic piece that attaches those two pieces together. There is no brushed nickel cover for this, and from across the room you can see it. Huge oversite in my opinion.
