This is a fabulous product! Thank you influenster for sending this for free to review. It is a LARGE piece of equipment, and is heavy, so keep that in mind. It does work well though and is very good and cooling my apartment. The low setting still feels quite strong, so that is what I have used most. It isnt too loud, and I appreciate that it also has a dehumidifier. I highly recommend it if you need a portable air conditioner.

We got the AireMax - 500 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier in white for our bonus room that has no air duct in it. Being in FL we have not been able to enjoy this room until now. The airmax is perfect for this space. It's not very noisy and doesn't take up a lot of space either.

Got this to help cool down our Airstream but first tested it out in our garage. Has a nice, sleek design and is a compact size. Super easy to set up and very quiet. Love that there are three different functions...AC, dehumidifier and fan. Took less than 5 minutes to start pumping out some super cold air! Very happy with it!

[Rewarded Review] Cold and quiet

We put this in our Florida room. It really helps keep it cool. I like that it blows so cold and is quiet. The timer function is nice because I just set it for an hour when I'm out there and it turns itself off. Easy to set up and control. The only bad thing was that our windows were too tall for the 2 pieces provided, so we had to use cardboard. Could have used another extension, then would have been perfect. Absolutely love that it is also a dehumidifier because the Florida room gets so damp.

Portable Air Conditioner Quit Working Under 1 yr

Needed a portable air cooler for a space in your home which wasn't well ventilated. It was great - in the beginning, but in less than1 year in and it has quit working. No luck connecting with the manufacturer yet on warranty claim. Not worth $* at all at this point.

actually cools

Worked well to cool my large (roughly 400 sq foot) living room pretty quickly, sets up easily, definitely a must on muggy august days, would buy again

High quality portable unit, I use it personally to cool the upstairs of our house, set at 70-72 all summer. Never had a problem and was always nice and cold!

arrived when scheduled...easy instructions...cools quickly...wonderful. one negative, but who care when you are cool, the unit is a little loud...

Air conditioner was delivered directly to the doorstep in perfect condition; clean, smells fresh. it is very easy to install. it is very powerful but uses my 15 amp socket only . I am very happy with the purchase.

decent AC. limited features but makes cold air well.

Conditioned air isn't directable out of the unit, just mostly straight up. Therefore unit is only good for its square footage rating and not any more. It speed chills my small bedroom tho. AC unit is also loud. and heavy.

Return to sender, but belongs in the dump

DO NOT BUY THIS THING. I wish I would’ve read the reviews first. It arrived a week late. Not cool. Then when I finally got it and plugged it and it ran for 3 minutes before it started making the sound of a Diesel engine and chugged until it popped my breaker switch. I have 2 other ac units and have NEVER had this problem. So I unplugged, reset breaker, plugged back in and repeated the process. This time the noise was much louder, as if the gears were jammed. Then it abruptly popped my breaker again. I moved to another room just in case and sure enough same results. I don’t think it was an electricity issue. I believe something was broken in the device. There’s no way it’s supposed to function at that level of noise and not blow cold and run so hard it blows a breaker. TL;dr spend a few extra bucks on something else, this isn’t worth the hassle and I had to send it back

5 Star unit works great in the Texas Heat

Nice clean design, easy to install and to keep clean. Highest setting is loud, but cool. Would recommend.

Had to return to overstock

Very very loud machine! Sounded like B52 in my bed room! A little research on these type of products on line indicated that if any of the these type of air conditioners have been stored on its side vs up right, and there is no warning or suggestion on the box on this machine/ make. That fluid from somewhere gets into some place it should not and this is what make the product so loud that humans can not be in same room with this machine. Not sure if this is what caused this machines problem but being up right in my bed room did not cure it. Product returned easily back to Overstocked as defective

This unit is a powerhouse.

I have put this in my garage, the unit works fantastic and cools the garage to a comfortable level.

Remote does not work out of the box

The unit itself works great. However, the remote control does not work. I did all of the troubleshooting steps but still the remote will not control the unit. I sent an email to support about 48 hours ago. I still have not recieved a response. Disappointed the remote does not work because I need the Sleep Mode feature.

This was a gift for neighbors

As Oregon suffered one of the worse heat waves in history, so did my neighbors without A/C. I made sure they wouldn't suffer again. They absolutely loved the gift and says it's awesome. ❤
