This is a very sturdy chair and met my expectations in providing more safety in the shower than standing. It was easy to put together.

I bought this for my special needs brother after he came home from a hospital stay. The delivery came earlier that expected.(huge plus) Assembly was super easy. The handles on the chair made it easy for him to lift him self up and steady himself to sit down. Cleaning a breeze. We live in an older home, so we had to turn the chair sideways in the tub. It maybe hard to put legs in front of chair that way if you have a built in older tub. Overall, good buy.

Shower chair is good and I like the adjustable legs. However one of the legs was bent and a bit smashed at the end. It took some time and tools to get it to straighten out enough to be able to fit it in.

Slight difficulty assembling shower chair.

One of the poles that fits into part of the chair seemed to be squashed a bit, so it was almost oval. This made it difficult to push it into the round part where it belonged, but I used some pliers and gently "rounded" it so it eventually fit where it belong. Hoping this doesn't affect the strength or stability of the chair. Other than that it seems fine.

Just be careful with any bath product for quality.

I had exact same item from another company identical chair so bought this one Drive medical. It seems a bit rocky but seems to work. Could have improved the sturdiness. I do like it and am used to this style.

Sturdy and Comfortable

The bath bench is sturdy and comfortable. All the parts were in the box, the assembly instructions were easy to follow, and the pieces fit together well. The legs were easy to adjust for my height. I feel much safer when I take a shower with the bath bench.

While I am very satisfied with this purchase It's not as study as the one it replaced which was similarly rated. I would not recommend this product for anyone close to its weight rating. I believe this rating might be based on a static load and not a kinetic one

Excellent choice. Easy assembly . Inserting arms was a little tough but we got it. Tube was a slight bent.

I used to work with patients therapist. I’m very satisfied with this product. The little latches did tend to stick however when attempting to put the pieces together. But once it was mounted, we are happy with the quality of product

Shower with armrests

Delivery of the chair was very quick. It was easy to put together with no tools. Pushing on the armrest causes the chair to tip. This is a caution for those with balance challenges.

Very Good Quality

When my husband started to assemble the shower chair he was truly amazed at the quality of the chair, the versatility & at a great price. We brought it for my elderly parents who now live with us. They also liked it also & they can now feel safe taking a shower.

This is a Great Bench with Back & Arms

I first purchased the Drive Medical Bathroom Safety Shower Tub Bench Chair for myself and found it to be a little wobbly. When my mother came to stay with me I purchased the Drive Medical Knock Down Bath Bench with Back and Padded Arms which I think is more secure. Because she uses a walker she is able to back into the shower and make the transfer from walker to bench using the bench arms as support to sit down. I personally like the backrest feature.
