Works as it should.
This chair works like it should, and has a good range of adjustments. There was no instructions on which screws go where, so I did have to disassemble once I figured it out, but the screws you tighten with your fingers, and only takes a couple minutes to assemble or take apart. It works very well for us.
The grey shower chair has made showering so much easier after having a full knee replacement. It was easy to order, easy to pick up and easy to put together . It is safe & makes me confident that I won’t fall and will be safe. It’s sturdy and the angled rubber tips at the end of the legs keeps it from moving or marking up the shower floor. It is well worth the cost for piece of mind.
Sturdy & Lightweight
Holds at least 200 pounds. Sturdy. Lightweight. Reasonable price. Suitable for washroom. Sturdy back. Adjustable. Recommend!
Guess how to assemble
Sturdy, comfortable, lightweight. The assembly instructions leave much to be desired. The mini photos cant be deciphered even with magnifying glass. Lucky me it was similar tomy old one.
Buyer beware! Hope the Co. backs their products.
I disliked the chair came with missing screws, when I called Drive the the company that makes this chair it took forever for them to figure out all I needed was 1 long screw with a twister on the top. Then after 25 minutes I asked if they would send it to me, they had to go and see if they could!!!! I couldn't believe that. Companies should back their products no matter what, especially if it was their negligence.
OK, but not as strong/durable as advertised
Easy to assemble. States it’s good for up to 300 %23’s but I wouldn’t recommend for anyone over 200. 250 lbs and the 4th time we used it one of the legs started bending and we almost had another trip to the E/R. Can’t return it to Walmart, need to contact the mfgr. Not worth the hassle.
This chair had to be put together by my wife, who is not mechanically inclined at all. It was not an easy assemble, was confusing and hard to see the markings referred to in the bad directions and was short one screw that was long enough to go through the middle bottom slot. I had to help her although I was just 5 days post op from a bypass surgery. Do NOT recommend.
Too big for tub . . . and NOT RETURNABLE.
Doesn't fit in my bathtub . . . and not returnable. Be sure to read the fine print and measure carefully. Definitely too wide for most tubs (especially at full height), so only good for walk in shower stalls . . . and then only if the floor of the shower is pretty flat. The bottom of my tub is too curved for this to sit with all four legs on the ground (as safety and the instructions dictate).
I recommend not ordering such items online.
Can’t use it. Now don’t hVe one. And hubbys on surgery right now. Thought it would fit in a standard shower. Nope. Base is too wide. Can’t return it either, even though it is unused. Recommend not to buy such items online. In person. Remove from box and use your tape measure before purchase. We’re screwed.
Check the fit to tub. Easy to assemble.
Be sure to measure the width of your bathtub. Mine is on the narrow side and the chair does not readily fit.
Sturdy shower chair made of durable material
Sturdy shower chair made of durable material. The shower chair was shipped with clear instructions and was easy to assemble without tools. It sets inside shower without tilting and is comfortable to sit on during use. Shower chair a little larger than expected but fit well even in smaller walk-in shower in second bath.

This chair is well made and sturdy. 2 problems: The tubing keeps relaxing, requiring retightening. The package was missing one screw. I emailed the manufacturer and asked for the replacement. They said they do not replace missing parts. That is simply irresponsible. I am not returning this to Home Depot just because it is missing a screw. That's really bad for the environment to transport any item for such a minor reason. Looks like M6x1, 35 mm long. I'll just buy it and cover the cost. Perhaps Home Depot should require any company selling through Home Depot to take care of such minor issues and getting involved only for something more major.
Disappointed with my medical chair
It's smaller than the one I had before. It says up to 300 pounds yet I'm only a 180. I'm uncomfortable it's shorter for my thighs and my body. I had to use the back part of the old chair and put it with the new seat of the new chair so that I could have more back room.

Nice design, color, assembly, weight, and functionality. No information was provided on website or in instructions on how wide the legs spread. But the same was true for other chairs, even on other sites. And, as the legs adjust taller, they spread out wider. I had to turn the feet around to fit against the curved sides of the tub. Barely found a height to width combination that fit inside the tub.
Not satisfied.
I purchased this chair, received it quickly. It was purchased for my dad.
Defective, screw too short, wobbles, not safe
My husband is battling a terminal illness and is in need of assistance showering. I purchased this chair because, as his only caregiver, it would make it easier on myself and him. My time is limited due to daily radiation treatments that cause us to travel long distances every weekday. My first disappointment was in that it was not assembled, but came all in pieces that had to be put together. The very first thumb screw that was suggested was too short and didn't even come close to the hole it was supposed to fit in. Would never recomment this product. Walmart has always been preferred over Amazon because their return policy has always been good. Now, I find out I cannot return a defective item, it is disheartening and will affect future purchases. Quality is just not important to manufacturers these days, it seems.
Choose another brand. Unsafe after minimal usage.
I weigh 170 and have used the unit 8 times or so, the legs are spreading on seat at an unsafe angle. Unit will have to be discarded and replaced in near future to prevent a fall or injury. There is no stabilization on lower parts of legs as seen in picture to prevent the legs from shifting and causing seat to become unbalanced. Weight rating is misleading. Avoid this product. Had other choices been available sooner we would have not purchased this item.
Dangerously Warped in Less Than Two Months
The chair was so great when I first got it, and it made a huge difference. But in less than two months, it's warped to the point of being unsafe despite me following all the care instructions and using it properly. The legs have done some weird thing where they've splayed out and warped in ways that make the chair unstable, leaving me constantly sliding off when I use it and worrying that it will completely bend underneath me while I'm on it. I'm fat, but my weight is within the limits of the chair's support limits according to the product description which I made sure if before I bought it. Extremely disappointed and pretty upset that I had to order a different chair in June to replace this that I had bought in April. Highly recommend avoiding this chair if you're fat and have mobility issues/disabilities. It's not worth having to replace it later.
Shoddy materials/workmanship!
I purchased this chair thru my OTC website which of course gets it merchandise from Walmart. I was looking forward to using this as I get severe pain in my lower back and lose my balance easily. After the3rd use I noticed it seemed a little wobbly. Getting out I almost lost my balance and fell on the tub. Luckily I was able to grab safety bar. I saw them that the front leg on one side and the back on the other spread out. I can’t get a refund as I’m told on Walmart.com it states ‘No refund’ yet on my OTC website it doesn’t!! How am I supposed to know. Never again from this company!!!
Not what we expected at all
First off it does not fit in our bathtub at all. secondly if you take the back off to try and sit on it sideways the screws are to long and push up into the seat part like they are about to come through it. Thirdly its very unsteady, it falls over very easily. we bought it because we knew a bigger one wouldn't fit in our tub but this smaller one doesn't either. Im 36 weeks pregnant and have 2 herniated discs crushing the nerves to my legs, 1 buldging disc and another disc completely out of place pinching my spinal cord. After the baby is born I have to go. have back surgery so we were hoping for something I could use for awhile. Save yourself the hassel and just get the extra long one that for sure will go over one side of the tub but also still be in the tub if your bathtub is on the smaller or narrower side.
