The ordered item I received didn’t match the part displayed in your parts catalog. According to other purchasers/reviewers of this part, the one provided is of inferior quality. I’ll find out for myself, as time passes. I would strongly recommend your company not mislead the purchaser with an inaccurate photo of the part.

This a fluidmaster product. Although it fit just fine, it isn't an American Standard product.

Perfect replacement for my 15 year old toilet. Wasted dollars at the local hardware store for replacement flush valves that didn't fit.

Fits just perfect!

This was perfect!

While the flapper fits, it is not the same as the original American Standard version shown. This one does not have the rubber chain protectors on it as shown in photo and it has a little triangle clip holding the chain the the flapper. This triangle has to be pried apart to put it on the flapper and then reconnected which is really hard to do. The result is the chain falls off when you flush. I had to put a wire tie through the chain and connector to keep it from falling off. Really disappointing that Home Depot put an incorrect photo on the website.

No More Leaking

Exactly the size we needed! The sizes recommended and purchased (two different ones) at big box store did not fit properly. Will only buy from website if needed in future.

Coincidentally, I tried to return this product yesterday but was unable to because product was not in system. The flapper I received has a different appearance (no red top as pictured) with a sku #0 12611 49117 7. Disappointing that an emergency water meter leak took precedence over my indoor bathroom upgrade but in addition to be unable to return. I’m hoping I can use it when needed in the future or it might be a sign of poor quality control. You decide.

Works great on my American Standard Cadet 3 toilet.
