Sad review of what quality has become to mean!

Bought two tubs and have already had to repair chipped finish on both

Easy install

great tub, easy install, best for flat wall or tile wall install. Not made for walls with outset designs and deep shelves.

Good value for the money. Steel tub I don’t worry about cracking like fiberglass or acrylic. Inspect tub upon arrival. A small chip in the foam like “insulation” under the tub right in the circle where the tailpiece slip through to connect to the drain….this leak was fixed with some 100% silicone.

Good tub if it's installed into a mortar bed. DON'T GO WITH MFG INSTRUCTIONS FOR SILICONE UNDER THE WAFFLE BED. I used thinset with polymers to fill in/ lock in the waffles and essentially glues it down also. If it leaves a thin space at the apron bottom/ floor. I just filled in / tuck point with thinset. Also, I broke some of the styro-foam on the cross brace and elsewhere, just be careful--have someone help you lift if necessary. I butted the backerboard instead of bending it over the screws/washers at the lip edge.

Bad design

It would be nice to have a replacement drain assembly when needed. This takes a special type that is hard to locate.

Nice tub but scratches easily

The tub is sturdy and looks great. It is not too shallow and not too deep. Perfect for bathing kids without having to do too much leaning. The only draw back is that it scratches so easily. I haven't used anything abrasive on it at all and with only a soft sponge saw some faint scratches after only a few weeks. I've been extra careful since then but still makes me nervous to see how it will hold up over time. All in all though it is not bad for the price

Nice tub but complicated to install

Tub, delivery, etc were all great. Install issues due to the set up of the overflow drain.

Princeton tub

Tub was delivered on time. Waited nearly a month for plumber to install. When we opened the box the tile flange is missing the enamel. Water could weep up and rust the flange and drip out rust in the corners after tile is installed.

Great Kid-Friendly Features

We love our Princeton Tub! We installed it on our kid's bathroom for the kid-friendly features. The Americast makes it roomier for fun bath times for kids, plus the Americast materials keep the bath water warmer for a long time compared to cast iron. My kids love to stay in the tub for a hour now because it is so warm. Plus the slip resistant surface is great for kids (and adults)! We love it!
