This item was reasonably priced, and of fairly good quality. The installation instructions were poor.

The five lights on the outside of our home were 25 years old and needed replaced. We have lap siding and the backplate on many lights is too big for us and I wasn't willing to modify our siding. The backplate on these fits. These were not so cost prohibitive so I ordered 5 of them. The boxes on our house don't quite work with the mounting bracket supplied but I was able to easily modify everything by using drywall screws instead of the provided anchors. Once I had the system, it took me about 10 minutes to uninstall each old light and install these new ones. A big bonus is these are made to run on LED and I like saving money and not replacing bulbs for 10 years. Soooo, I am a woman but I have access to screw drivers and various screws, and that is really all I needed for this project. These look okay with the LED bulbs I already had but I will be purchasing clear bulbs which will make them even better.

This sconce looks great but installation was a headache. The metal plate holes did not line up no matter how the contractor placed it, so he had to improvise. This caused the installation to take much, much longer than it should have. I bought 3 of these, & all 3 had the same problem.

Nice light fixture, only the light fixture barely covers the standard plastic 1 gang electrical box mounted horizontally. The mounting bracket design may work better for the verictal 1 gang box. My box installation is in brick.

My contractor Installed the bases so no comment on that but they look so good. Really enhances the house.

I purchased this light for our front porch. It gives a lot of light; it is not too big; it looks great from the street; & the bronze finish looks rich. Very happy with this purchase.
