Reviews
Based on reviews, we bought this light thinking it would work over our vanity. The shades are a thin glass and relatively short. Trying to justify keeping it, I swapped out a variety of shades & light bulbs but nothing helped it work better for us. With the clear shades, there was a lot of glare and with any shade I tried, there were shadows that poorly illuminated the mirror image. My husband thought it a little tedious to install and discovered his hand would not fit inside the shade to screw on the ring that secures the shade. The brass on the fixture looks good but the matte brown rod & backplate take away from its overall appearance. We purchased a different fixture and my husband said it was much easier install. Home Depot's price was much lower than other stores; for their price, it was acceptable.
These are stunning!
I purchased two of these lovely 2-light lamps for over the mirror in our newly remodeled master bathroom. They afford excellent lighting and provide the finishing touch to the bathroom.
Not a fan
Returned. Seemed like cheaply made.
Nice looking. Loose parts in package worried me so I ordered another set just in case a problem during install which won’t occur for awhile. For the price of product worth the extra caution.
Perfect! Well done.
Nice value for rustic stylish fixture
Nice basic but updated light.
Nice light, using it in a bathroom over a mirror. It's not as solid as I was hoping, the lights move easily but it's high enough it doesn't get touched much. Very clean look.
Nice vanity light. Purchased it for guest bathroom. It will go over a rectangular black vintage looking mirror. Love that it incorporates both gold and black.
A Light Fixture that's Just Perfect
We purchased the 19' wide two light Charlotte model from James Allan to fit a specific area above a mirror and below the ceiling edge in our new bath. The fixture is modern but yet fit into the casual character of our new bathroom and coordinated with the color of the fixtures in the bathroom. Installation was easy, the finished product looks nice and provides a nice accent above the mirror. We are very happy with the purchase.

Wall sconces should be mounted approximately 60-72 inches from the floor, adjusting based on ceiling height and the room's purpose.
How far apart should wall sconces be placed in a hallway?
In a hallway, wall sconces should be spaced about 8-10 feet apart to ensure even lighting and avoid dark spots.
Can wall sconces be used as the only source of light in a room?
Wall sconces can complement ambient lighting, but for most spaces, they should be used in combination with other light sources for adequate illumination.
What are the ideal dimensions for bedroom furniture placement?
Beds should allow a minimum of 30 inches (76 cm) of clearance on either side and at the foot of the bed for ease of movement. The top of your mattress should be approximately 24 inches (61 cm) from any bedroom wall-mounted lighting fixtures.
