This is the miniature version( 6’)of the exact same appearance, but larger 17” Light. I have 4 of these. They don’t last more than 2 years. I made the mistake of buying these and constantly replacing them. Now I have a miniature as well!

Beautiful but too small

Beautiful design but too small (8”) for front of my1650 sq ft home! Sent back for 12 inch sz. These were great for sides of garage but too big for our small porch so sent 1 back for 10 inch. So just do your homework 1st! I love the illumination and seeded glass. Careful with installation and the glass seats in after adjustment screw is loosened!! Cracked 1 of those.So happy with the new light fixtures and should be a five star but I hassled as a homeowner with all the size choices and returns. Really updated and stylized the outside of my home! Great classic look!

The dawn to dusk sensors on these lights works well. I love the seeded glass and the interesting light that it creates! The brightness is just about perfect and the homey aura is quite attractive! I love the LED lamp and the knowledge that I don’t have to replace bulbs for many years!

I've put up 2 of these by the garage door, they look real good. I would suggest removing the globe, via 4 screws, for easier install. Be careful they are very small and could be dropped. I had to cut back the mounting screw studs with a hacksaw, they were too long for the acorn nuts to tighten properly. I put a small piece of clear tape on the glass bottom, this keeps out the majority of bugs. I applied clear paint-able caulking on upper 2/3 of mount, leaving bottom open to drain if needed. Weird not seeing a bulb, but will be a lot more economical.

These lights are beautiful. They cast a beautiful bright light. I purchased two of them for my home and love the look of them. The rain glass is very pretty and the install took me less than 20 minutes. Mount the gem bar, connect the wires, screw on the mounting bracket, turn power and switch on and before you know it, at dusk the lights are lit beautifully. For the person who thought this light had a motion sensor it clearly states on the box that it has a photocell and is "dusk to dawn". If someone would want the motion sensor this light comes with those capabilites as well, which would be Model # RFSW30030LRS-MS. I love the fact that I now have no worries about remembering to turn the lights on and off as they do that automatically. Great purchase. Also love th fact that there are no light bulbs to change.

I like it for the most part, however, I thought it had motion capabilities, It does not. It's only a dusk to dawn light or totally off, that's it. There is not even an option to turn the light on during the day if you wanted to. I also purchased the larger matching light for the front of the house and that one does have motion capabilities but like the smaller version you cannot just turn light on during daylight. I do like this one better so if you have the space select the larger one. Quality seems to be good but time is the true test. Only installed two weeks.

We purchased two for our garage and love them. The LED's are much brighter than regular bulbs and we won't be changing bulbs all the time. Our previous lights were open at the bottom allowing wasps to nest. These are totally enclosed and very well made. They come on automatically at dusk and turn off at dawn. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

The bracket for attaching to the wall could have been better designed. The electrical box on the house had the holes lined up horizontally and the attachment screws from the lantern were too long and would not attach properly. I had to change as to how to attach the bracket by reversing the attachment screws which was a pretty much a guess as to how to shim them. Now that the lanterns are attached, they work as expected.

GREAT LIGHT. WORKS AS DESCRIBED

If you're judging Hampton Bay by their cheap looking (and loud) ceiling fans, these bulb-less outdoor sconch lights will change your mind. My Home Depot is in a poor neighborhood so we don't have the best choices for LED bulb-less lighting. I got the Perdido and Lumsden simply because these 2 designs were all they had in the store and they both function and look great!!! It's SO COOL looking up into a light and NOT seeing a bulb. I'm surprised the technology works so good. The motion sensors on both of these lights will pick-up EASILY at 50 feet. I mean these lights just POP on. I use Dusk to Dawn and they also work great. There are really only 2 downers: the Dusk to Dawn light sensor is SO GOOD they stay illuminated with just the slightest darkness. It just drives me crazy with a light being illuminated during the day time. Price: the new technology is 2X more expensive when a similar bulb-light. Buy these! You'll love them! Now what do I do with the old junkers I took off my house???

Good look and bright lighting!

I am very happy with this purchase! The Perdido 6 in. Rustic Outdoor Wall Lanterns are perfect on either side of our door on our storage building which is in the back yard but can be seen from the street. It lights up the entire area much better than our old lights. My husband installed them with no problems. It was quick and easy! We like the idea that there are no light bulbs to replace but since this is the first time we have had this type of light we'll have to wait to see how long they last. Most important for us was the dusk to dawn feature especially because they are on a separate building from our house! The only con I have is the description never mentions what kind of metal the fixture is made of. I would have liked it to be aluminum but the description just lists it as rustic, The high humidity in NC rusts most metals and they look ugly! The packaging does not mention the material either. Other than that everything was perfect with this purchase. Very good look! Very pleased with this purchase!
