A Lovely Fixture with plenty of light

We love the look and performance of this fixture it terms of its lighting ability in our kitchen. It may suffer from one shortcoming. That lies in the difficulty in replacing the light bulbs. I hung the fixture, and it was difficult to try to hold up the outer cage, the glass diffuser and manipulating the nut that holds it all up. Perhaps the bulbs might be able to be accessed from above the fixture, but I don't know, and the instructions don't show that at all.

Beautiful light fixture. Crisp shade looks like fabric, but without the issues (it's glass)! Easy to assemble, put up in under 15 min. Box was securely packed and contained all the pieces, what more do you need. Holds 3 bulbs, great clear clean light. We used LED daylight bulbs. No photo, because t looks just like the photo on the site.

Kichler hanging light

This is the seventh Kichler Lacey light I have purchased. I wanted to make all the lights in the house similar. I love them all. They certainly are an upgrade from my original fixtures. Really add a touch of class.

Poor quality

I had this light for 1yr + 2 weeks and the shade detached from the rim and fell on my dining room table. Neither Build.com nor Kichler would do anything to replace or fix the item because it was past the 1-year warranty. So disappointing to find out that a light I purchased for over $500 is basically worthless after just a year of use. I will not purchase another Kichler product in the future given the poor quality and the lack of desire to stand behind their product.

Elegant fixture, excellent light.

This is a beautiful fixture that fits the very large size of our bedroom (15x19), and gives excellent light. We have the same style in the smaller size (4 lights) in another bedroom, and we liked it so much we bought the bigger one for our master bedroom.

Stylish and Quality - Easy to Install

We purchased this light to replace a chandelier in a dining room that we converted to a den. We love it! It was easy to install and the mounting bracket is bronze which matched our drapery rods. We were looking for a more modern style that was close to the ceiling as we have some tall people in our family. The white outer shade adds some elegance and the glass shade underneath, hides the light bulbs. My husband installed it himself and said it was very easy to install.

Simply beautiful!

This light fixture is simply beautiful! Originally, I ordered a different light and it was too small for the room and frankly, looked cheap. This is the complete opposite. It's beautiful, the perfect size and the light it emits is diffused by the second shade. I'm so happy I ordered it. It was the missing piece in my family room!!

nice looking but for the price parts should have been better

Nice looking, bright light, and fabric shade looks nice. Problems with screws (too short and small). Use larger screws since the light us very heavy. The metal discs used to hold/clamp glass should have cushion the light/shade was not horizontal so required shimming to make it level. $2 of better parts would have resulted in 5 stars. As is it took three hiursbto install. Arrived well packaged and not damaged

Beautiful light, though seam is present in shade.

I love the look of this light and I am very happy with the purchase. It's definitely a 2 person job to put up but that is because it is really well made, the glass is solid and although delicate to install, very solid once it is in place. The only negative is that there is a seam created in the outer opaque shell/ shade where the fabric meets. It is ~1.5cm in width and runs the height of the shade. It is straight and neat, and the shell can be turned to face any direction but in a small room with a picture window that is easy to see into, there isn't a great place to hide it. Other than that, it's a beauty and I am am happy for the addition.

Beautiful light! It is the perfect size and style for our space. It is simple, yet elegant. We put it on a dimmer and we love it. It was very easy to install as well.

Nice but defective

Being this is a Kichler I was expecting a quality made light. It looks very nice from afar but I had to hide the shade defects on the less travelled side of the room. I did not want to pay the electrician to take it down and rehang once I had a replacement. You can very clearly see where the shade edges meet on the gray area. I would expect more from their quality control department.

One of my favorite go-to fixtures! Simple lines with high end style delivers every time.
