Purchased this in line filter for my 'bar sink' located at the end of the kitchen counter. We use this sink primarily for making coffee and tea. From time to time our water source has issues with extra chlorine that makes the coffee and tea not taste as well a it should. I installed the filter and the job went fairly well but the job was a little difficult because that particular cabinet is very small. However, I got it installed in a reasonable amount of time and the filter works great and there are no leaks. Very happy with the results.

I purchased this filter to filter water going to my refrigerator for the icemaker as it had an odor and taste issue. This filter seems to have alleviated the issue. I’ve also added a water tap source for drinking water at my kitchen sink. Unit seems to work well.

More for your money!

Bought through Home Depot. Was looking for a single canister water filtration system for a tight area that has a water inlet for a bakery ingredient weighing station. I was shocked to discover that this was less expensive and performed better than the double canister system I have been using elsewhere. Definitely recommend for basic filtration!

I installed this APEC water filtration system inline with my refrigerator ice-maker and water dispenser water supply line at a convenient and accessible location in the basement. Thus far it’s doing an excellent job in filtering out contaminants and any unpleasant taste in my water, without using the expense refrigerator water filter that frequently needs replacement. I may reinstall the refrigerator for added filtration and to determine if it’s life is significantly extended. As a side-note, it also gives me great satisfaction to be spending my hard erned money on a product that’s made in the US by a company based in the US.

Filter hides away under your sink. It is very easy to install and replacing the filter is very simple. It made a big difference in the quality and taste of our water.

Maintains existing flow rate and helps taste

Main thing we were looking for was a filter that could maintain the existing flow of our cold water line and this does that. We know it doesn't filter as much as a carbon block filter but for our water quality it does the job

Quality Filter / Easy to Install / Bad Taste

This is a quality filter, easy to install, easy to replace the filter ( a bit expensive ) I only use it on a filtered faucet for drinking water only, and the filter only lasts about 5 months before it really starts to taste and smell bad. And since I am the only one that uses this faucet, the rest of my family thinks the water tastes funny/bad compared to GE refrigerator water... it does not get used that much. Disappointed and I'm now looking to replace it.
