Exactly what I needed

Needed this for drinking water. Filters my cold water at the tap as well as the line running to my fridge water/ice maker. Water tastes great! Originally tried another filter, Aqua ... with the quick connect plastic tubing. Leaked like crazy! Will never be an issue with this filter's set up with the screw on connecters!

Taste is everything! My water has a completely different taste. It’s well worth the price.

A great kit despite the hoses

The only reason I gave this 4 stars was the vinyl hoses. They should be braided steel. The filter removes all the nasty flavors that SoCal water has, and i was very happy to throw my Britta pitcher in the recycling. It's set up to go between your cold water cut off and your faucet. I got fancy and ran it to a drinking water spigot and my ice maker. This required adaptors, tees, and different sized hoses. I expected this. I also expected the bruises and sore back from working under the sink. Don't be a sissy. I'm a 65 year old single lady. If I can do it, so can you.
