Self-Priming is nice, but WAY too loud

I bought this to replace a failed AquaClear filter. Setup was easy and the no-priming is nice, but this thing is WAY louder. I'm going to just have to replace with with another Fluval Aqualcear instead.

I am so far thrilled with my Aqueon Quiet-Flow. Unlike all the (too many) other brands I have tried over the past 10 years (with usual disappointment) I am confident to say, the product has been improved.

Terrible filter

I bought this to replace my filter as I wanted a quiet one. This thing is the loudest filter I ever had. Walmart filter is quieter and will last 10x longer as this one stopped working multiple times and I got sick of repairing it. 100% do not recommend worst filter in existence.

good water flow.... keeps frog in tank to not crawl out so for fish I bet evern better..... easy to clean....great double filter..... love it

Not worth it!

I Ordered one of these for my first order and it was bad from the start. Chewy replaced It and sent me a second one. It has lasted just over a month and has now just stopped working. Very disappointed!

Wasn't what I hoped it would be

Aside from the impeller for the pump being insanely loud, the cartridges have to be cleaned out every other day. Even with new cartridges, the water keeps going to the overflow, triggering the LED. I've got this on my 40gal tall. Not happy woth the performance.

it doesnt have a good suction to help pull water, but if youre using this for fish, worth it. I dont recommend for any reptiles or anything that lives in water. Great product for the price, especially when on a tight wallet.

A WASTE OF MONEY

I bought this about three months ago and ever since it has been giving me problems from it leaking and completely flooding my living room floor to then not being able to find the right size filter cartridges or the specialty filters(which are never in stock👎). So I would give it zero but that’s not possible so I give it a 1😡😤❌🙅‍♀️. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH 🚮

Good as expected

I purchased this filter because of the literature I read. We have power outages because of the storms we have in the area. I needed to have a filter restart itself when I am gone. This filter put my mind at ease after the first power outage during the spring. I was home at the time and they all started by themselves. They do a great job filtering my tanks. I have 5 of these running 4 tanks and could't be happier. The only drawback is the cartridges are a little pricey. Would recommend.

[Rewarded Review] Faulty Power Filter

The product lasted 1 week. The attachments detached to the bottom of the tank. Attempts were made to reattach but when checked again, it was in the bottom of the tank. Frustrating to fish out the attachments since the product was new. Also, the main body of the unit did not fit properly and was flimsy. I do not recommend this product and plan to return. The delivery service of the product was excellent but the product itself, I do NOT recommend.

Quietflow 75

I've had this filter now for 2 weeks. It's been running on a 55-gal African Cichlid tank, and I'm impressed. It's not only quiet it does a great job filtering and aerating the water. I've always had clear water but now it has that polished, crystal clear look to it. I have several other tanks, all running Aquaclears. If and when they quit on me I will replace them with Aqueons. My only complaint is with the cartridges. They are cheap, but expensive in price. No problem, there are several other alternatives to using them.

Did not last

I got this filter and installed it on July 25th, 2023. It is September 3rd, 2023 and I woke up this morning to a dead motor and the tank has been sitting with no filter overnight. Everything inside the tank is fine, but this was a very expensive item to not even last 2 months.

Reliable

We’ve had this same unit running continuously for five years and it’s still going. I’m only ordering a replacement because I figure it has to give out at some point, and I want to have one on hand when it does.
