The size and proportion of this is oversized but perfect for a kitchen table or entry. They also come in different sizes. I could not be more pleased with another lantern. Insert Glass before hanging. These lantern are like jewelry when they are hung and finish the room. Looks very high end and is gorgeous when hung You may need to hire electrician to hang if you do not know how to wire electricity and cut chain to desired length.

Visual Comfort Mini Arch Top Lantern

My personal opinion is that this lantern is better looking in the bigger model. Transitional design, marrying the traditional lantern with polished nickel finish and shape up an updated piece. It's important to consider the diagonal measurement, not just height, width, and depth. I had to return the "small" version for the mini because of this.
