Great kettle (not for mischievous cats)

Very nice, works fast, great price. Bought two of them because my cat kept knocking it down and they broke. Had to switch to a non glass option but I really miss this one. It was nice to look at and super efficient.

I HATE this kettle

Why do I HATE this kettle? The spout doesn't pour in one stream: it sends water sideways. You have to turn the kettle practically upside down to pour out the last .7 L: that's over half the max fill. There's a plastic strainer thing in the spout that can't be removed. .5L minimum water is a lot: total waste of water resources if you have to boil over .5L just to make one cup of tea. And, yes, I've had electric kettles for several decades. The only thing this one has going for it is a pretty blue light.

Dangerous

I've had this pot about a year when I noticed a burning smell. When I pulled the plug from the receptacle, the plug was burning hot and the receptacle had melted. This was due to a faulty plug and had I not found it when I did, could have cause a fire. This is a dangerous item and I would not buy again.

This electric kettle is a good value with 1.2L instead of the usual 1 Liter small size kettles. It does spit when pouring fast and that may cause some frustration.

died on me after a year and a half, can't be repaired. cheap junk built to be thrown away, but isn't everything these days?

Love it! I bought it back on 2019 , I’m a tea fan so I use it about twice per day and still working as the first day.

Stopped working on the 360th day of use

Yes, I looked at the purchase date and this kettle didn't even last a year, with minimal use. There is no way to unscrew the plastic portions (unique screw head) to clean or investigate why it no longer works. Wish Target would consider a 365 day return policy for pieces of junk like this kettle.

Stopped working after 11.5 months

This was great, until it suddenly stopped switching on just shy of a year into owning it. Very frustrating.

Christmas gift

Granddaughter loved it. It was a Christmas gift to her from me.

Lasted nine months

We bought this kettle last February and it worked beautifully until it just quit. I came here to see if others had the same experience and see that I have a lot of company! The early reviews were all positive! Must be a fairly new product. I will be buying a better known, reputable brand next time.

Broke in a year

It worked well for a while but then just stopped working. It no longer turns on or heats up.

Did not last long... very disappointing!!!!

Didn't have this for very long... noticed water were leaking from it this morning... getting all over the places... and then realize the glass cracked.

Cheap quality

Great while is lasted. But it only lasted about a year. What a waste.

Surprisingly Convenient

Great for using to make cups of ramen noodles. Life saver sometimes haha.

Broke within a year. Didn’t use it as much during the whole time it actually worked. Maybe every other day or so. Do not recommend
