Unreliable

The thermostat malfunctioned after the warranty had just expired. The company offered me 15% off if I would purchase another unit. Stupidly I purchased another unit. In exactly the same time, the Thermostat again malfunctioned. I now own 2 units which do not work. I will not recommend this product to anyone. Buy some other make.

I would not buy this again

I have gone through 3 different water dispensers. Every time I change the filters my hot water stops working. I am definitely in search of something that will work better for my needs.

I received the product already

I received the product already damaged, the shipment was through FedEx. It had grease stains on the box, of course, it doesn't work. I'm trying to return it but, the shipping cost is the same as the product's price. I'm still waiting for a response. I do not recommend buying it.

We purchased this water dispenser in September 2023 for $288.00 Right away, the water had a strong taste. We had to use the cleaning kit to resolve the issue. Since then, the filters were replaced twice ($98.79 X 2= $197.00) The dispenser not always producing the hot water.

Brand new, set up was easy. Replacing a different unit (different brand) that had been use for several years. The handle / spigot system on this unit is superior to previous unit.

Horrible - DO NOT BUY!!

This thing is junk. It stopped heating and cooling after less than 6 weeks. Room-temperature water trickles out. The Avalon customer service is no help. They don't answer the phone. Email support simply tells me to buy new filters (my filters ARE new!). DO NOT BUY this! If you need more info just look at Avalon's Google reviews. This company is a scam.

Appears to be built well. Packing was good. LED light could be placed in a better position. Child safe lock for hot water was not effective for my kids. I would like the water dispense at a faster rate.

I enjoyed the product for a few months

I enjoyed the product for a few months but now i am not happy that the product stop working(no cold or hot water, water comes out but at room temperature . I did not register the product when i first got the item because i thought this was a good quality item. I do perform the self cleaning every week and sometimes the water does come out the way it should (cold & hot water) but then it goes back to dispensing room temperature water. HELP

Filtered, self cleaning, easy to install

Easy to Install, but the cold water isn't as cold as I got from a bottled water dispenser. It's not lukewarm just a few degrees colder than that. The tap water does taste good though, with no after taste

Very happy

I bought one for my mom about 6 months ago and she loves it. Very happy with ours so far. Would be nice to have some little rubber covers on the paddles so they are easier to use. Also a sink adapter to run water through the filters would be nice of go ahead and mount and plum the adapter so it is easier to flush the filters first.

Love our new water cooler.

Love our new water cooler. The only thing I would off change is the height of the water spout. I had one of my warehouse build a wood base to put under it to help us not to have to bend over so low. Otherwise every thing else is perfect!

The unit doesn’t working well

👎🏿I ordered this unit from Home Depot, it was not working well, the cold water tank frozen not fixable. Take long time processing to replacement.

Had no choice

I called due to the water freezing. Was told that I had to purchase a new one because the thermostat was welded to the water tank. I am a tech, forked over the money. When the new unit arrived, I disassembled the old one. I was lied to. It was not welded, actually the NTC that monitors the cold slips into a tube that is welded. They could have easily sold me an NTC or a board and have me make the decision. Not happy with this deceptive practice.

Works great for an industrial setting!

We have Avalon water coolers located in all of our breakrooms. The coolers look great and are easy to keep up with. Kyle was so supportive when it came to helping us with trouble shooting and replacing our damaged unit. They're very good at walking you through the whole process. I'm very content with the coolers and with their customer service.

Functioning well

Water filter looks good and so far is functioning well. I noticed one thing that the taste of water was not very different from tap water. Maybe limitation is due to 2 filters in this particular model. I really like the press paddle feature as people do not have to touch the paddles. I think it would help to have a four filter model with press paddles as well and we would have gone for that one then.

Only one way to install, company not responsive when asking for help.

The cooler itself works quite well, but installation is terrible and the company was unable to provide options. We have an existing cold water line that was for a water fountain. We chose this bottleless cooler to replace the fountain as it is much more sanitary. However, the only way to hook it up is on a faucet line, where you would install it in the middle of the cold line (similar to the line to the icemaker on a fridge). The only hookup is a T connection. If you have a dedicated line for the cooler, you have to find some way to cap the T connection, and no matter what we tried, it has leaked. It was leaking to the point we had to shut the cooler off and unhook it entirely. The company was very slow to respond to emails or phone calls. We have asked for a new T connection (we are still under the warranty period) and had no further response. I am extremely disappointed that I have had the cooler less than a year and it has leaked for half the time we have had it.

My Avalon bottle less dispenser is Great!!! No longer will I have to refill the 5 gallon water bottles, not to mention lifting the the bottles up on top of the previous dispenser we had which was nice

Great purchase!

Great addition to the household! We have a water dispenser inside our refrigerator but didn't want people constantly in and out to get water so we researched bottleless water dispensers. We've had it about a month and so far no problems! Install was easy. Our unit is in our pantry so not close to a sink so we had to skip the flush the filters step. Instead we ran through a few pitchers of water and tossed them. Worked great! The water is super cold and is enough for everyone to have a cold glass (unlike most refrigerator dispensers!). We haven't tried the hot water feature...just no need for it. I definitely recommend this product!
