The heater is attractive and easy to start. The heat output is good, but you have to sit or stand close to the unit. The assembly instructions need to be improved, because names of some parts in instructions did not match what parts are named in U.S.

Absolutely thrilled with our purchase!

Did a lot of online research, and can honestly say that for the price, you will be very pleased with this patio heater. My husband and I put it together in about one hour, and it was some of the most concise and complete directions we have ever followed. One hint, if you are going to be moving this around your patio, be sure to remove the metal "feet" at the bottom of the 4 posts before putting the rest of the heater together. Otherwise, when you tilt the heater to move it to another area, the metal "feet" will scrape and make it impossible to move the heater. We live in Arizona, and the winter evenings are quite cool here. This heater combines warmth to the patio, but also provides a very awesome flame that is mesmerizing to watch. Very happy with this purchase!

great heater

Very nice, elegant heater. As they say, not as much heat as the traditional ones but much more interesting. The flame going most of the way up the middle is a little like a camp fire, something to watch while you are getting warm. Love the stainless. It keeps looking nice while my original one is all rusty now. Holds up to a pretty good wind too. I've had several of the round bottomed ones blow over which really messes up the top, not to mention bending the long tube. This one doesn't seem to blow over and I live in a pretty windy place.

Perfect for the pool area

Just setup two heaters for our pool area in Florida (no need for a lot of heat). Absolutely love the look at night. Good quality product - also bought extra covers. No problems with the instructions - it takes around 30 - 45 minutes to assemble them (based on your skills). A small step stool is helpful, but not needed (you can tilt the heater to assemble the top pieces).

Disappointing.

Really disappointing.… first off the instructions were not great. I had to YouTube it for clarity. Secondly I got to the top section and the screws are not long enough to catch the bolts on the top. There are washers fused on preventing the screws from protruding far enough to catch. So now I’m stuck and I’ve made it too far to return.

I reviewed many heaters, picked the AZ model and spent 2 1/2 hours assembling it. It looked great but wouldn't ignite. Reading the troubleshooting part of the manual and looking on line didn't help, so after an hour of failure I took the thing apart and returned it. The only positive in this experience was Home Depot's customer service, which refunded my money without any problem. Otherwise, this purchase was a complete bust.

Unfortunately we have yet to use the patio heater delivered on Jan 3rd due to a missing part. Whilst we were issued a replacement a week later, the replacement is incorrect and not for this heater. We are still in discussions with AZ Patio Heaters and have yet had confirmation of the correct part being issued... I'll continue to wear my Jacket and Wooly Hat.

Very nice heater. Looks beautiful. It does put out some heat but wish it put out more. Good price. Will last for many years. Very very nice.

Wow. What an assembly nightmare. Ok so I love assembly normally. Im the guy who my friends call when they buy stuff needing assembly they dont feel like doing. And i love doing it. But this. Wow. It takes it to a new level. I asked my husband to help and we both ended up cutting the heck out of our hands. The instructions are useless. Quality is fine but its not cheap. Clearly from china. I havent used it yet but so far so bad

Item looks good Very easy to put together despite some of the reviews. The only thing that I can see a potential problem the screws. They put the screws where they suppose to go that's not bad but during shipping some fall out and you have to track them down in box. would like to have them in baggies that are numbered. The instructions you have to search for them they are in one of the boxes it would be nice to have that box marked with labeled that states instructions in this box I ordered this on because of the Quartz glass I watched a video of a guy spraying water and glass cracking you never know when that quick rain shower pops up.As far as heat goes i have not done a proper test when I used it it was cold and windy If you buy the cover when you go to put it on top be careful of the wing nuts on top cover will get caught its best to have a step stool or help from a tall friend.

Not enough heat.

The patio heater, although is very nice looking, does not provide the heat that we had hoped. The deflector at the top should be much larger to throw the amount of heat to make it effective. We replaced our old heater with this one. Our old heater was better at heating than this one.

Great for a commercial application

This heater really surprised me on how well it is built. Im not sure I actually received the correct item as the specs showed 70" tall and I received 89" tall. But definitely well worth the money! Doesn't put off much heat, but definitely attract customers driving by. Very cool looking!

Well made, beautiful product

Very well made product. High quality materials and tight tolerances. A fair amount of assembly required. But works perfectly and looks great. This is a much better visual product than a heater, but that's what we wanted. One important note, you MUST hold down the pilot button for a full minute when you connect a new tank. I thought it wasn't working until I read the directions carefully. Pilot must be lit before you can turn on the flame! But there is no need to run the pilot all the time. It starts up in just a few seconds after the first time.
