Fanciest hummingbird feeder ever!

This is my second Birdfy purchase. I had such good luck with my regular bird feeder, I asked for this for Christmas. Right out of the package it is clear that it is made nicely, came with extra parts, cleaning tools, and most importantly, easy to follow instructions for set-up. It is currently charging, and I can't wait to get it set up outside and added to my app. The solar panel concept is genius as we don't have many power sources in our backyard so this opens up many more options on top of giving you a chance to get up close encounters with these quick birds!!!

Great feeder

Great feeder! Have had a lot of fun watching birds on my Birdfy seed feeder and this will be a great addition to our backyard. Very easy to assemble & even came with a cleaning brush!

very good features and function

This review is for the Birdfy Hum Feeder Duo. This summer I kludged together a hummingbird cam by mounting a birdfy cam next to a regular hanging hummingbird feeder. That worked, just not very well, sometimes the hummingbirds were too far away and blurry or would not be in frame. As the camera wasn't attached to the feeder when the wind would pick up the feeder would sway in the wind and I'd get motion alerts. This feeder appears to fix all of these issues. It has two cameras, one that looks directly at the feeding flowers and the second looks along the side of the flowers. Both cameras appear clearer and a higher resolution than my other birdfy feeders. Additionally they display temp and humidity as an overlay. The solar panel is highly recommended. I have one with my birdfy bamboo feeder and, here in sunny Colorado, I've never had to bring it in to charge. I did *not* have a solar panel on my diy hummingbird cam, and it was a bit tedious to have to frame up the feeder again after every charge.

Hummingbirdds. YAY!

This is a great hummingbird feeder! Super easy right out of the box. You just need to charge it fully, add the perch, and add some homemade syrup (REALLY easy to make; store-bought is silly expensive). This feeder comes with lifetime AI/bird identification and a solar panel. I've opted not to use the panel because I will have to mount it too far from the feeder and will have a hanging wire. Since I have to bring it in occasionally to clean and change the syrup, it will be easy enough to charge up at the same time.

Great Nesting box witb dual cameras

I am very happy with my purchase of the Birdfy Nest Box with dual cameras. I like the idea of the predator guard to help keep my birds safe. It is heavy, so you will need a strong tree to mount it on. Also I suggest staining the bamboo before placing in the weather to protect it. Can’t wait till spring to see who moves in!

Really Enjoyable Bird Watching

I previously purchased the Birdfy Bamboo feeder and am very happy with that. So when I saw the Dual Camera Hummingbird feeder I thought it would be a great addition for bird watching. Having the included lifetime AI bird identification with cloud storage of videos makes this feeder a great value. It is nice to get notifications and videos whenever a bird is on the feeder. The app also allows you to customize the notifications to specific birds and/or new birds. That way when the feeder gets really busy you aren't getting constant notifications for birds you have already seem multiple times.

Birdhouse for the true birder!

They really thought of everything when making this birdhouse! The dual cameras are perfect for watching them hatch and witnessing their first flight! The predator guards are also an extra touch that shows this company really cares for our feathered friends! We already get bird nests in our trees so I cannot wait for spring to see who makes this their home! The only two things I wish were better was the weight and material. This birdhouse is well built which puts it on the heavier side so make sure you have somewhere strong and sturdy so it doesn't fall! Lastly, the bamboo is gorgeous but also a fairly porous wood. I would recommend sealing or painting the wood so it doesn't mold in wet climates. Overall an amazing product that I cannot wait to use for years to come!

Great choice

This is a great addition to my setup. I've been feeding birds for years but setting up a camera for hummingbirds has been challenging, but this solves that. I needed some assistance with setup which was easy and fast. Image quality is great and sound quality is very good as well.

I really like the quality of this camera. The images are clear, it captures motion perfectly, and I like that one of the cameras can be adjusted to get the perfect angle. Unfortunately, we haven’t had any hummingbirds because of the time of year, but I can’t wait to see what pictures we’re able to capture with the hummingbird feeder camera.

Very awesome idea and no cables!

I love the modern look of this bird house, and it actually works. I've had birds come in and out, although I know they won't move in until spring. There are two cameras and a battery pack inside along with different sizes of openings. It's nice it comes with a solar panel, so I don't have to run cables to an outlet (since I don’t have an outlet in the back)! The app is well laid out and has different phases of nesting. I haven't had it long enough to see it at the very end but it seems to be a nice interface. The house itself appears to be well made. The only reason I didn't rate it 5/5 is because I wish it came with the wood pre-sealed. I wasn’t expecting to have to purchase sealer with it. Instead, I set it out for a few days until I could track down some sealer but I was already getting mold spots and the black part of the box was fading in the sun after a few days. My climate is very humid so I’d recommend getting sealer ahead of time, putting that on before you even set it outside. Besides that, I would definitely recommend it!

Super easy setup & excited about the solar panel. The design of this is great & can’t wait to see if the camera quality matches. I have yet to get this outside as it’s charging but I hope we can soon so we can have new visitors! Ending this by saying my partner said “they didn’t include the humming bird feed” as he unboxed this, little did he know it’s just sugar water.😂

Beautiful contemporary bird house

Just like the bamboo bird feeder, this is a super good looking bamboo bird feeder. Very well built and quite heavy as would be expected. Great design and construction. Easy to setup and everything is included to hang either from various size poles, a tree, or the side of a building. Cleaning instructions are provided as well as how to best maintain this feeder that hopefully will be around for many, many years. Two cameras allow watching both the parents and the baby birds. LED lighting is provided for the inside camera. 3 different size openings are provided to best tailor for the birds you would like to house and protect. Unfortunately I had a problem when updating the firmware, but got to experience their great customer service.

This is so cool! It has captured some truly amazing videos of hummingbirds perched on the feeder and drinking the nectar. Amazing creatures. The installation had a couple of snags with charging the battery enough to connect to my phone app, but with patience they were easily resolved. Physically assembling the product was simple. I love the solar panel charging capability; we have the feeder on a shepherd's hook and were able to easily attach the panel to the hook without any permanent installation to our house, etc. It's very cool that the app identifies the species as well. Overall, a fantastic family friendly product!

I had never tried this brand before, but I am in awe of this product. My mom is obsessed with hummingbirds and has a good population at her house, so we set it up there. We have seen so many little visitors that may not normally be present when we’re looking. Highly recommend.

What a Cool Idea!

We have a few other feeders from Birdfy so we wanted to try something different. This bird nest looks very beautiful and has been well thought out. There are two cameras; one to see who is inside and then one to cover the front door. Setup was a breeze through the app. You just type in your wifi password and the app generates a QR code that you show to the camera. It then magically connects and shows up on your app. The camera quality is excellent. The included solar panel also makes charging painless. Just set it up and leave it alone! Excited to see who moves in!

[Rewarded Review] My hummingbirds absolutely love it!!

I’ve had the same group of hummingbirds live at my house for multiple seasons now and had provided them with proper food and feeders because I love watching them. This feeder is a game changer!! It was so quick and easy to set up, my birds are obsessed with it, and with the app I get a notification every time they arrive to eat. I love watching them up close, and my granddaughter requests videos of Nana’s birds daily. I’m obsessed! I just wish I knew about it earlier because it’s almost the end of hummingbird season and I’ll have to pack it up when they head south and keep it safe until they return in the spring.
