Easy assembly outside of arm assembly, took a while to line up the screw holes. Does not rock but will wobble a bit with leg action. Like it but still getting used to it.

I would buy this chair again.

Leather and cushion appears of good quality. Assembly was straightforward. Chair is comfortable, but I'm 6'3" and wish the seat was an inch or two longer. On the other hand, the seat back fits perfectly. Don't tell anyone, but the chair is easy to fall asleep in.

This chair is my primary seat for reading, watching television and using my laptop. Unfortunately because of the restrictions of the pandemic, I am sitting many more hours than I would like, but I am very comfortable. The tilting mechanism is easy to use and precise in my seating position. I look forward to the period where I will not be confined for so many hours, but am glad that I have a comfortable, handsome chair to park my tired old body. Not least in the benefits in the chair was the value. Cowhide seating areas, hardwood construction and sturdy metal mechanism. And all for the price of a cheaply made pleather chair.

Big Disappointment

I purchased this chair in October of 2019 because I thought BarcaLounger was a good brand and it said it was top grain leather on all seating surfaces. Now I know that doesn't include the back and head rest cushions which have begun peeling and are obviously bonded leather. This was a replacement for a similar leather chair of a different brand that lasted 13 years. This chair looks bad after 13 months. The ottoman started discoloring after only a few months. This is not a good chair to purchase if you actually plan to use it.

Misleading description

The description for this chair said it rocks and swivels. That's why I chose it. But when it arrived, after I'd spent 45 minutes getting it out of the box and assembling it (not too hard), I discovered that it doesn't rock. The company made it right, which I appreciate, and the chair is nice for a swivel chair, although if you recline, it's very difficult to reach the knob that keeps it from un-reclining. So basically a nice, comfortable - if overpriced - swivel chair.

The chair was delivered very quickly. It was, however, difficult to assemble. But once I did finish, I loved it. It is very solid and fits me to a T!!

Like them a lot. Not to small for my companion, and only a tiny bit large for me (I added a couple of pillows).

Very pleased with both the product and service. Hayneedle had a very good price that was well below other on line outlets for the same product. In addition to the best price that also gave a 10% discount. Most of the products are made in China and distributed in US locations. I previously had a Mac Motion that was purchased ten year ago. The parts are interchangeable. I will use Hayneedle again. Get the best price you can on top grain leather.

We looked a long time to find this chair at an affordable price. Great recliner for a smaller floor plan.

Good Product

The knob that locks the recliner in place is difficult to reach while reclining in the chair. I have to lean forward and stretch my arm to grasp it. The knob is located at the lower front right side of recliner.

Just arrived....Barcalounger has been know for quality and this seems to be a prime example. Lounger, recliner, leather, very comfortable, who could ask for more. Purchased at request of Husband...he's happy and that makes me happy

It is a good product.

The reclining knob, located under the seat of the chair, is too far forward. It is not in easy reach of an extended arm when the chair is in the recline position. I have to lean forward, while sitting in the chair, in order to grasp it. Its use is to lock the chair in a reclining or upright position.
