Pretty but hard to clean also the wool gets everywhere

It’s a very nice rug. Heavy, expensive looking. Th color is somewhat lighter and it works perfectly with the tile in the entry. It’s a beautiful addition to my home!

Owned for 14 months. Loved its look and texture, but, pricey, and family visits with small dog left many off yellow stains that proved impossible to remove, sadly.

Just right

Had been looking for a neutral colored area rug for a long time and I’m so glad I found this one! Great material, and the color is perfect.

Nice Rug, Not Great for High-Traffic

I bought this rug and another similar one (same type but with darker colors) two years ago. This one went into the living room and the other one into the bedroom. The bedroom gets little traffic and that rug still looks good. This rug, however, that ended up in our living room, didn't hold up as well as I had hoped. The good: it is a 100% wood rug. It's thick and heavy. When it was new, we really liked how it looked. It was also soft, even for bare feet. The not-so-good: dirt, hair, etc. would get down into the grooves formed by the design and were impossible to get out. After a few months, the rug looked quite dirty, even though we vacuumed it often. And then we got cats and it was all over. The cats were fascinated with the balls of wool formed by the design, and they basically ripped on them until they came out. Even if neither of these things had happened (dirty grooves and cats tearing up the welts), the higher traffic areas matted down and looked bad. It just didn't hold up well to the amount of foot traffic that the living room gets. I am still giving the rug 4 stars because I think overall it is a good rug for the price. if you are buying it for a lower-traffic area, especially if you do not have pets, I think you could be quite satisfied with it. However, I personally would not buy another one for a room that gets a lot of use.

Love the look and texture it adds, but may have reconsidered purchase after realizing my Dyson wasn’t recommended for vacuuming. The only advice from manufacturers was do not use Dyson, so I’m left with not knowing how to best take care of this rug. Vacuuming with Dyson will ruin but also not vacuuming at all will too. Probably would have considered a less complicated rug. Definitely regret purchase.

Have had almost a year. Love the color and the feel on my feet but has shed since day one. Rumba ran over it and it just sheaf and strings pulled like crazy. Resorted to spot cleaning and sweeping for maintenance. Still shedding and that’s annoying. Wouldn’t repurchase.

Beautiful rug but hard to keep clean

I've had this rug for several years. I love the look of it but it is hard to keep clean! I have to clean the rollers on my vacuum every time I vacuum it. I tried to get it professionally cleaned but since it has backing on it, they could not dip the whole rug in the solution. Overall I have been satisfied though.

Top quality soft rug.

This is a gorgeous high quality rug. It is thick and very well made. I've posted a pic to show the weave and color detail compared to white. Definitely one of the best rugs I e purchased for our new home. Highly recommended and you'll not be disappointed.

Beautiful rug, only shed in the first few months. Soft. Only concern is cleaning after a spill. It hasn’t happened yet, but I worry the weave will be disturbed if scrubbed at all. Overall, very happy with it. I received many compliments.

Unnecessarily Expensive

WHY ARE RUGS SO DANG EXPENSIVE!!!! For what reason Home Depot! I’d buy it if it was reasonable!

Beautiful and soft. Neutral oatmeal color. Lays flat. Natural materials with no toxic smell. I’m using a standard Wayfair rug pad beneath. Product literature recommends a pad on hard floors.

I actually liked this rug, but the smell that was coming from it was not pleasant. The insert said it needed to air out for a few days and that the smell was a normal thing. But I let it air out in a room with the window open for 10 days and it still stank. I had to return it.

Beautiful rug!! Have gotten tons of complements on it. We have a bunch of dogs and it even keeps up with all their running around and mess.

Poor quality

Very disappointed. This rug does not hold up. I have bare spots where the wool comes out.

Beautiful, soft Safavieh rug that looks exactly like the pictures. I used this in a foyer, and it's heavy enough that the edges don't curl up to cause a trip hazard.
