Handle constantly loosening up

The top handle losses every few days. You can tighten it with a Allen wrench but it gets loose again. Others have had the same problem. Would loctite work to hold the screw in better?

Very nice faucet. A little taller than expected and wouldn’t recommend for a narrower sink because will splash. But for deeper sinks it’s great and the hose on the side is nice too.

Sensitive to water staining

Faucet tends to get white residue on it that has to frequently be wiped down. Sprayer hardware is not good quality. It has broken twice in the past 2 years. It is otherwise a beautiful looking faucet

Beautiful Moen polished chrome tap

The Moen tap fixture is beautiful heavy chrome and a focal point at the island sink. A long goose neck was too overwhelming in my opinion. I was not interested in a ‘spotless’ finish offered on some taps. I choose not to install the sprayer—don’t use or like. I found a Moen soap dispenser (not available at Lowes) that complements the tap. The dispenser I filled with dish washing liquid—have a dishwasher—but some items need hand washing. If not installing the sprayer—the tap must be sealed off under the counter top to keep from leaking water when the tap is turned on. (I only had a tap hole and one side hole at the sink.

Functions fine, finish is horrible

While I have had this faucet for 5 years, the issue began shortly after install. I have the "Rubbed Bronze" color and it is clearly some type of a painted finish. It began to wear away very soon after installation and has continued over time.

This was a great option for a top handle faucet with a separate sprayer. The only downfall was the fact the sprayer is plastic not metal as is the rest. It nicely matched another another Moan pull out faucet I had in a prep sink in color. Lowe's was about $100 less on the same faucet than the other big box store..

Perfect fit for our counter and sink!

I purchased this for 2 kitchen sinks and love it! It has great projection over the sink- less counter splash than a previous high arch faucet. The finish is beautiful as well.

Good luck in finding a REPLACEMENT AERATOR

First of all, before/after installing, remove the aerator and flush out the faucet. I didn't do this. The aerator became clogged quickly with some greasy gunk. I never could find the correct replacement aerator for this product, anywhere on the internet - part 52016F15 - but I did find an aerator that fit the hole - NEOPERL 1001551263. however the threads were bigger. With some plumbers tape I was able to make it not leak after installation. Good luck!

Leaky 7245 faucet

While this faucet is good looking, it is only surface looks. That the plumbing guts are brass is good but based on the price paid ($250+) there are shortcomings. The sprayer body is plastic, so I'm not sure how long it will last. The spout is aimed forward, not directly down into the sink, so there is some unwelcome splashing of water toward the user. Finally, when first installed, water did not immediately shut off - it dripped for 2 -3 seconds. After a few days of use, this stopped - water shut off immediately. But after several weeks of use, the water now continues to drip for several seconds after shutting off. Apparently, the cartridge included is not of a high quality.

Love my new faucet

Love the look of this. Installed by my contractor so I cannot comment on the level of difficulty of that part. I was so happy when my old chrome faucet finally died - I've wanted one like this for years. The spryer button position is a bit odd - works from underneath instead on the top/back. It just takes a little getting used to. And you had the best price and fastest shipping. Great service

So so disappointed in this faucet

This model faucet was what we wanted but had to be ordered on-line. We ordered this faucet and hired a reputable plumbing firm to install the faucet. The firm was the same plumbing company that installed all our pluming when our house was built 8 years ago. They installed the new faucet. The cost was almost $194.66. Within ONE DAY, the faucet began dripping after the faucet shut off. It dripped water for 3 seconds after shut off. I contacted Moen. Your company sent a new "cartidge". The new cartridge arrived and the same plumbing company replaced the cartidge. They DID NOT charge me for this second trip. The new cartridge was instanlled on Thursday: March 11. Everything was fine for the first day. This morning the faucet drips for 3 seconds AGAIN after shut off. I am so stressed out and at my wits end. I don't know what to do. I asked the pumber what is wrong and he said the entire faucet is defected if 2 cartridges have not stopped the dripping. But the plumber did say that if the faucet is replaced, there would be a full cost to replace this faucet (another $194.66). Disappointed. Yes! Frustrated. Yes! I ask you, how am I supposed to view Moen in the future. Thanks for listening.

Installation was much easier than other faucets that I have previously installed. That was important for me at my age since it isn't as easy as it used to be to splay out under the sink. I did find an issue with the handle catching on something in the base of the unit, however. After finding a parts diagram, I was able to remove a set screw and firmly push down on the part below the handle until it clicked into place. Handle works smoothly now.

I'm on my third kitchen faucet in six years. The first two with their side handles were difficult to control. They went from too hot to too cold. Too weak to too forceful. This one is just the opposite. No struggle to set it just the way I want it. Not only that but having the handle on the top instead of the side is really convenient. Suppose you have a kettle in your right hand, ready to fill. In a side-handle faucet you'd be having to cross your hand left hand below the kettle to a handle you couldn't see easily to turn the faucet on. With this one, you just reach straight out to the easily seen and located handle. Does this sound picky? Well, just experience this faucet and you'll be surprised at what a difference it makes. And did I mention the style? It looks really great; and not like something out of a commercial kitchen like those high arching ones. Oh, and I like the way the water comes out at a slant, perfect for my small sink. If I could, I'd give this faucet 6 stars. Thank you Moen. And I'd give Home Essentials Direct 1 star for not packing it properly. It came not inside a carton, just its own box that was not taped down, so its flaps were half open. It's a wonder that all the parts were still there.

The Belfield kitchen faucet is very attractive in the my kitchen. This is my first experience with a TALL kitchen faucet. The TALL kitchen faucets are great when washing or filling tall pots, but every time you run the water it does splash on your sink top and all around your sink It is a trade-off, LOW kitchen faucets do not splash very much, but they are not as convenient when dealing with large pots. I would highly recommend this product to customers who already have a Tall kitchen faucet or those who do not mind the splashing.

The faucet itself is well made and was easy to install. I like that it has a far reach, which I needed for my double basin Kohler sink. There is only one glaring issue with the faucet - the sprayer. It is a cheap plastic with a very stiff cord, making it hard to seat back onto the sink deck. The spray is also way too strong. It causes water to splash up towards you whenever you use it, and is not good for delicate tasks. I like to use the sprayer to water orchids in my sink, but this sprayer just creates a big mess. I would either get the faucet without the sprayer or find a replacement sprayer that actually works well.

Great faucet! Very easy to install and set up. One nice thing about it is that it comes with its own supply lines already installed. The sprayer is also easy to install over old ones, it snaps in instead of having to screw it on. Very well working facet with a high over head reach . The only thing that is a little different is the aerator, it goes inside the mouth of the faucet and needs a special tool to get it out. The tool is sold here on Home Essentials Direct, Neoperl 11 9110 5 Cache Plastic Clip with 4 Keys, 1 of Each Size Key . You will also need a special adapter if you have what I do, a water purator that hooks up on the end of the faucet. If you don't have one no problem but you will still need the tool to clean the aerator. I'm very happy with my purchase.
