Defective product. Warped cast iron apron that we had to modify subfloor to install.

shipped a broken unit

I looks the whole unit looks to have been shifted in the palette and the corner was cracked. It wasn't obvious on delivery until I opened the wood framing. Lowe's delivery and scheduling was unhelpful in getting a replacement unit in a timely manner. I had to push back my installation over a week.

shower base

Base is not flat, is off by 1/4” on middle, can not flatten, poor quality, too late to return, check before installation. Will not recommend, will like some refund

The shower base was beautiful. I wish I could have kept it. However, it weighed 200lbs plus. Buy this only if you have an easy, open install area.

Kohler shower base

Love this Kohler shower base. Well made cast iron with white finish. Have used other shower pans and this one is so much better than plastic or composite in my opinion. Looks so nice with tile walls.

Do Not Buy

Installed in conjunction with tiled walls, floor, and Kohler glass door. Within a year cracks and rust staining started appear in drain area. Per Kohler there is no way to repair and most likely finish will flake off due to rust underneath. I was offered a refund of the purchase price under warranty. Now I'm on the hook for the costs of removal, disposal, replacement of the shower base and repair of the walls and floor. Bought this specifically for the durability, got a huge $$$$$ mess.

It was the heaviest part of the bathroom remodel but there are no regrets for its style and durability.

Pan is warped

Don’t purchase this pan. We purchased and it is warped. The plumber set it twice and then the tiler tiled it with this ugly grout line cause of the warp in the pan. Very upsetting considering the price of this product.

Simple, contemporary lines

I love the size and that is cast-iron. Easy to keep clean. Nice clean lines, simple understated elegance.

Very nice shower base. Best of the best.

Very high quality cast iron heavyweight shower base. The piece weighs 180 pounds and is a real work of art. The tile mates up to it nicely and we get lots of compliments on how nice it looks especially with the aluminum drain cover.

Kohler Bellwether shower base in white

The base arrived 5 Oct 2023 at the store but when I placed the level on the outside area were the shower bottom rail of the door will be installed was bowl not level all the way across. In order to put the bottom rail of the glass door I have to use almost the hole silicone paste to make it level in the center more than 1/4 inch gap. So please I reorder make sure the front of the base were the door goes its level!!

Very well designed, looks beautiful in our bathroom. Full cast iron construction makes us feel confident that this will last for a long time. Probably could be kept for the next renovation in 15–20 years!

I am very please with the shower base, but my only thing I wish about the base is that I wish it was a little deeper. We wanted a shower curtain verses the glass doors. Some water splashs on the outside. But still love my purchase.
