Worst futon mattress I ever purchased!

I've used futons for many years. I opened the package and let the futon air for 2 days as recommended by the manufacturer. The futon contents would shift alot. I could never get it to look like a decent couch as in the website picture. I wound up returning it as the tufted areas that were supposed to help the stuffing to stay put, showed the stuffing showing through. It appeared as if the fabric stretched and we didn't even sit on it. After inspection it looked like all the tufted areas were showing the contents of the inner mattress (white). The outer mattress was a peacock color so it was very noticable. I do not recommend this type of a futon mattress. Returning the mattress was a hassle. The box weighed approx 60 pounds and the mattress had expanded. It took two people handling the mattress and wrapping in shrink wrap in the original box in order to return it. Thank goodness we had a truck to move it to the UPS store. It finally arrived back at BBB and we were refunded. I should note the initial delivery by Fedex was fine. Less

Bad product

The matress was very thin and uncomfortable tried to return they wanted to charge me *** dollars to return or they wanted me to buy a year membership charging me an additional *** dollars to return the item and then I would have to cancel the membership.

Total Garbage - Do Not Buy

This futon mattress looks nothing like a picture. It is not able to hold in the up position and is slouching down. The cover is the cheapest possible and the inside is not a foam. It has a zipper but you cannot take if off for two reasons: it will fall apart and it is sawn through (so you would have to remove the stitches and then if will definitely fall apart). The customer service is a scam and they lying from the beginning about returning it. The only thing I like about it is the color. STAY AWAY

Not nearly as thick as it appears in the pictures. I can literally feel each rail of the futon frame through the “mattress” like I’m simply laying on a couple of thin blankets. I got a futon instead of a sleeper sofa, because in my experience, a futon sleeps better, but not with this mattress!

Don't do it.

False advertising. No where near 6 inches. It's basically the same thickness of a very heavy / thick comforter.

Not well-filled.

The color and fabric are good, but it is not well-filled. Our previous 6” thick mattress was quite confortable. This one leaves us feeling the slats underneath.

Perfect, attractive, durable, and I'm thankful

It's beautiful and perfect for us. After tons of studying and reading reviews, I selected this one because the reviews were good, and one person who complained actually posted gorgeous photos, which made me feel sure this was the right one. I ordered it on a Friday. The next day it was vacuum sealed and shipped, and it arrived Monday! I unpacked it and it immediately fluffed up. An hour later I laid on it and it was very comfy! The next day I put it on the futon frame as a bed, added a soft, fitted sheet, and laid on it, and while it will be for grandchildren, I felt I would be completely comfortable sleeping on it. It folds easily into a couch, no problem. No slumping; it's well-formed/shaped. It feels "just right" in every way... there is a warm feeling about it... homey, comfy, attractive, well-manufactured, and actually has the same pleasant scent as cotton. The sewing is solid, the zipper is attractive, the twill fabric is durable (not flimsy, but solid quality). It is a relief to finally get a quality futon after months of reading mixed reviews about various futon mattresses. I still smile/laugh about the review that posted photos of this very model, complaining... yet those very photos were so beautiful that I wanted this model, and I'm thankful and happy for this purchase. It's very practical for us to have this bed/couch combination. It's not too soft or too hard, but just right.

Full size 6" futon mattress

loved the sage color but not quite the firmness I wanted, I could feel the seat slats through the 6" mattress when laying it out. I sent it back and have just ordered an 8" w/med-firm mattress.

Read reviews before you purchase

The mattress is definitely not 6" thick, more like 4". Would only recommend using on a wood flat-slabbed futon (not a metal futon with round slabs) because you can feel everything underneath. Also, make sure you measure what you need because you can only return via mail and it is very expensive ($**).

Don't waste your money...!!

As shocked as I am at the quality of this product - disappointed doesn't even describe it. The color is beautiful, but instead of expanding in the last 48 hours as it was suppose to it is shrinking and looking so frumpy, wrinkled and uninviting. I am really upset to say the least. Don't waste your money as we did :(

Don't buy!

I would NOT recommend this. I can feel the slats underneath the perhaps 3 inch padding. It was compressed when shipped, we waited 3 days before we attempted to put it on the futon frame.

The tweed is exactly what I was looking for. The color is good too. I can't wait to get the daybed put together for use!
