Great size for one person, warms the water quite fast.

Love this. So easy to see how much water you have in the kettle. The kettle is quick to heat. I like being able to pick up the kettle without dragging the cord around.

It’s compact and nicely designed though it a bit takes time to boil water. This is a must-to-have item for me.

It was $20

It was only $20. It lasted me about 5 years. And it worked perfectly fine. Q: Is it the best kettle around? A: No. it's $20. But It did auto shut off when it reached boil which is nice. Q: Will I be buy it again? A: No. I will be upgrading to a gooseneck. It was also impossible to clean well. Q: Would it of made it more than 5 years if my demestic terrorist of a cat didn't knock it off the counter breaking the lid? A: Yeah, probably. But I was already considering buying something new. 5 years was long enough. Q: Why 4 stars? A: I initally bought this to make cup ramen and the occational cups of tea. And for those things it was perfect. But now I need a kettle that can make pour over coffee and get the tempeture just right on spicific teas. So it feels wrong to deduct stars for something I never intended to use it for.

I use this several times a day. Its size is perfect on the counter without taking too much space yet makes at least 2 coffee mugs. It heats up very quickly. And the design is modern. Luv it

This thing is my favorite random splurge. I've never thought about the need for boiled water in minutes . Without a pot and stove top or *gasp* the microwave ( said like meecro- wah-vey) ;)

Wonderful......short in height to fit under my cabinets. Heats water quickly......not hot to the touch.

Love it, size, color and functionality!

After purchasing this product in December 2022, it fell off my work station onto carpeting. The top broke and I was not able to put back as the other reviewer Chant on 3/01/21 stated that because plastic pieces holding up the lid broke off cannot put top back on which creates safety hazard as it will not automatically shut off. It does look good and perfect size for my workstation, but ultimately not worth the money.

This kettle seems to lack the quality I expect from Bodum. It’s made of plastic, I was expecting it to be stainless steel. It’s very basic, doesn’t customize temperature, but the price is probably reflective of its quality. I’m returning it because I’d rather spend a bit more for a kettle that will last a long time and not be made with compromised quality.

Heats well and quickly. Great product. My second one!

Nice Design but Cheap Plastic

Man does the plastic feel cheap and thin on this kettle. At this price, you'd expect some more quality. I have difficulty imagining the kettle lasting so long. The ON button is easy to toggle, and when we accidently toggled it when the kettle was empty, the kettle just heated up without any water within and without shutting off. Even my last 14 franc no-name kettle had a safety switch that would shut off if this happened ...

I already had the 1L

I already had the 1L red one (which I'd like very much) but was looking for a smaller size and a white one to fit with my decor. It boils really fast and the design is great!
