i love this pan it is the exact same one my Granny used and my Mommy the only reason I had to replace it was my daughter had barrowed the original one for a roast dinner at her new house and she ended up damaging the lid to wear it wouldn't fit anymore. The replacement lid was going to cost the same if not more so i just got a new one all together and couldn't be happier with it. heres to another 25 years plus of use hopefully.

For Blackstone Griddling!

Hello, my implementation for this product is two fold. I purchased this Roaster for the LID itself, as a Steaming Dome for my Blackstone Griddle. But now I can put cooked/grilled food into the Roaster with lid, to keep foods warm while finishing my cook. Easy to carry and a nice warmer.

Solid!

This is a solid, well built roasting pan. I shopped in a hurry in the middle of the night and got this pan and a stock pot. I B didn’t realize they were different brands or colors. This is black enamel. I had hoped for blue, but this does look really nice. It seems sufficiently heavy for whatever you might cook in it. A feature that I thought was handy was that the lid fits in it upside down to store. That’s definitely convenient.

Great Roaster!

My 18" (15" long on the inside) Granite Ware roaster arrived in perfect condition. No chips, no dents. Removing the big sticker on the outside of the roaster was Super Easy! I soaked that end of the roaster in warm water with dish soap for about 2.5 hours, and the entire sticker peeled off all at once.

I have not had a new Roasting Pan for many years. And, oh how wonderful it is to be able to cook in this brand new and clean pan.

Great roaster

What's not to like about a roaster that reminds me of my childhood. Used this great pan twice. My 15 lb.Thanksgiving turkey fit perfectly. Also another time the pork roast with vegetables worked out great in this pan. I can see myself using this for family get together dinners. Clean up is so easy with this roaster. Love it.

15 pound Turkey Roasting Pan

Cooked Thanksgiving 15 lb turkey in this pan. The lid would not close all the way, but as it cooked it did. Turkey cooked in half the time it was supposed to. It browned as well. Next time i will purcase a smaller turkey though.

Nice Pan if....

The Roaster was dented on sides and handles. I kept it anyhow to roast a turkey and pot roast. For 18.00 i wasn't going to wait or go back. I don't have company for holidays other than few family members, but i will tell you alot of stuff from Walmart seems to always have something wrong. I buy just the bare necessities now only!

Nice mid size roaster.

The label said it would hold a 15 pound turkey. Just what I needed. I had a 15 pound turkey. The lid wouldn't quite come down all the way. I covered the bird with aluminum foil and put the lid on top. It worked just fine. Maybe a 14 pound bird next time. Good quality.

Vintage yet....timeless

This style pan has been around a long time, I know as I have been around a long time lol but it is really a timeless roasting pan. This one was a great price so grabbed it for my daughter. It is medium in weight and perfect for any meal prep... it is not the largest one but this one is plenty large enough to hold enough! A turkey, ham, pork roast, you bet. It has deep sides so you can fill bottom with all the vegetables you desire, place meat on top and still have ample room to put on the lid. Oh ya, the lid is very deep as well. Prep, load up the pan, cook and serve a feast to feed a army straight to the table.

Misrepresented dimensions

Beware. The dimensions in the description are misleading. The description should differentiate between the depth of the roaster and the height of the lid. The small roaster is described as being 8 inches deep. In reality it is only 3 inches deep, so holds less volume than I thought. I bought this to replace a previous roaster to make my chicken and rice for a large family and it was not deep enough. Anyway, the roaster is of good quality, so just take into account that the height of the lid is included in the description. Seller told me I would have to pay return shipping costs to exchange. It wasn’t worth it to assume these extra charges, so I did not exchange.

WHY DIDN'T I BUY THIS AGES AGO?

I can't believe I waited so long to get one of these. I figured since I only make a turkey/roast etc a few times a year it wasn't worth investing in a pan. This is such an upgrade from the disposable pans and such a great value. I fit a 20lb turkey in here with plenty of room. I also use it for my Sunday chicken now. The cover makes it so easy to get a perfectly juicy bird every time. And if you clean up right after use, there is no problem with stuck on mess. Do yourself a favor and get this pan!
