I couldn't find this color
I couldn't find a polished chrome downward rode within a week or two locally. Glad to find it online shipping wasn't to bad I had it within 1week. Price was on the higher side but the autos on the higher side to match.
This thing was expensive. It’s more gold than satin brass, but it worked out. I purchased because the company who made my fan does not make or sell separate down rods. For a non-threaded universal downrod, this was my best choice.
Bought 2 different colors went with white. Looks good with fan. Pleased with purchase.
The DOWNRODS for the two fans we were told to order were the incorrect diameter and thus would not fit and we could not connect these expensive fans, very frustrating....

Downrod Extension
This part is a downrod extension and not a downrod. Must buy coupler to properly use. Company does not allow returns on accessories-new in box. Started the process on their website and it said was waiting return. No shipping label was sent. Then spent an hour on the phone with customer service for them to tell me they would send an email. Online chat is always "offline". Website and customer service not helpful. Bad experience. Out money and hours of time.
Just as described
Arrived quickly. Just what I wanted/needed. Matched the color of the fan.
It is a solid downrod but I feel like it scratches easily so be careful while you are getting it up. There are better ones that also are threaded which is helpful
Not as I expected. NOTE! This is not HD fault. They just fixed it.
I had a non-standard mount fan. Most fans I have had have had threaded stems on the fan hub. My fan had a non- threaded stem with just a pin to hold. Had to order a special downrod to match the fan. Luckily it all worked out for my 72" fan.

If you're trying to buy a downrod for the Fanimation Studio Collection AireFlex 52-in Brushed Satin Brass LED Indoor/Outdoor Downrod or Flush Mount Ceiling Fan with Light Remote, this is NOT the right downrod despite being by the same company and in the same gold color. The end of this downrod is not beveled and it needs to be beveled to fit that particular fan. It would be nice if Lowe's or Fanimation explained which fan this downrod actually fits....
Downrods were supposed to come with an actual fan
What good does it do to get downrods when the fan has not been shipped? Poor quality control. . .

The color matched perfectly with the Prominence Home Briarcrest fan that I purchased but one end of this downrod was slightly bigger than the other or something alike - we had to hammer it into place in this fan.

The Fanimation 36 inch down rod was a perfect match...
The Fanimation 36 inch down rod was a perfect match for my new fan to get the correct hight for the fan. But after I tried to install it, I found out I needed a rod with a wiring harness with plugs to make it work. So I had to return it to HD and ordered the correct one from the manufacture of the fan.
Recommend additional product
Down rod is perfect, however there should be a note that a down rod connection is needed. We couldn't install the ceiling fan as directed without the threaded end on the rod! Electrician had to resort to an alternate method
Fan Downrod
The length of the fan 'down rod' fits perfectly with my ceiling that goes from 10' to 15', I believe.

We love our new fan! We needed a download for the extension on the vaulted ceiling, and called to be sure we got the exact color and length. Customer service was great, and we had the rod within a couple of days. It is now installed and looks and feels wonderful!
Perfect down rod
We needed to drop the fan height 24 inches from a double trey ceiling. We were afraid that the rod would cheapen the appearance of our polished nickel fan. Not so. Perfect match, solidly built, gives great fan support.
