Doesn’t fit an 6x6 posts
These are made for 5 1/2 x 51/2 posts not 6x6 as advertised.
Easy to install
These go on easy. Just make sure you don’t have them at an angle to the post. The little indented triangle holds them on. I used a rubber mallet, hitting the cap gently at the centre crown to install.
Extremely simple to install and looks great
They were very easy to pop on and they look great. Not being cast iron im not sure how long they will last but we’ll see after the winter

We just slapped it onto of the wooden post with no tools just like the 4 x 4 ones we used in the new wooden fence that just got installed!
