Calphalon 5qt saute pan with lid

Just love this saute pan. It will definitely get lots of use in my kitchen.

Perfect Skillet

I needed a skillet that would hold a great deal of sauce and meat and this is the perfect one. The sides are high and allow me to put plenty of liquid in with the meat without worrying about making a mess on the stove. The pan is substantial but relatively light for its size which I consider a real bonus since I frequently pick it up and put it in the oven or want to pour everything in it into the Instant Pot to finish cooking. There is a hand support on the skillet that allows me to use both hands when moving it-a must for a skillet of this size. Great glass lid. This is truly a treasure which I will usemany times and cooking for my large family.

Not the same

I was replacing this exact model of sautée pan that I had purchased about 5 years ago. Calphalon 5005. They have cheapened this pan in the extreme. It is a discount store weight pan now. Don’t bother, go to Walmart and get a cheap one. Same as this one now. Was a good pan, but they are now living on past reputation. Walls and bottom are thinner and what used to be a solid handle is now hollow. Not as deep as it used to be. See photos. Sending back.

Just in love with my new nonstick sauce pan with cover. It is amazing, definitely one of the best nonstick pans I’ve ever used. I love that I can’t use the whole pan in the oven and it can go up as high at a Dutch over 450. It’s a very very large pan but I love that’s it’s not super heavy. The size is perfect when cooking for a large family. I love that it’s also deeper then most pans. Plus the dark color inside and outside is just beautiful. In love now I want the whole set.

I love the Caphalon brand. Their cookware is high quality. This 5 qt sauté is big enough for a stir fry for the family. I love that it’s not too big and can easily be stored. It’s non stick and dishwasher safe. Overall, a great household staple.

I was expecting it to be smaller but it’s pretty big. I like it. Even with the top it’s perfect to stop the oil from going everywhere. The non stick is great I can tell it will last. Heat distrubution is good and cleaning the pan is super easy. Just watch out to not scratch it.

Loving this pan! It’s a one and done. I love I can cook eggs and also do big skillet meals for dinner. It’s great. I haven’t had anything stick or burn. It heats really evenly. I love it. A quick rinse with water and it cleans everything out fairly well. It’s been the perfect pan and now live son the stove !

They sent me the Calphalon Hard-Anodized Nonstick 5 qt sauté with cover, this sauté pan is large and made of the greatest quality. Just picking up this sauté pan you can feel how well made this pan is. This is a nonstick pan so you will be wanting to use this pan as often as you can.

This is such a nice skillet. It’s the perfect size for so many things that I cook. It has an even heat distribution which is always nice for cooking things and having them be done at the same time. This pot is also super easy to clean and is nonstick so cleanup is a breeze.

This product is a 5 lb saute nonstick pan with lid. Super light and can cook a large amount food. Love that it has a cover because most of my pans don't have one. It was easy to clean too. My only complaint is that the handle gets very hot quickly while cooking so you have to becareful, or you will get burnt. I recommend using a mitten or cloth to hold it. I wish the handle had some sort of protection.

We received this yesterday and immediately made dinner using it. First off it is gorgeous! Second it made cooking so easy! Nothing stuck and all of our food was heated perfectly and evenly! Excellent, large durable pan. This is great for family pot dinners when ypu need the extra room to put everything together. Cones with a top to keep splashing down. Love the steel handle. Very durable and sleek! Very easy to clean after cooking. Nonstick!
