Excellent lighting

A little disappointed in quality. The base of the light seems to be plastic?? Also the self tapping screws did not work. We had to use some we had.

Beautiful Lantern

My outdoor lighting collection is beautiful. It changes the whole look outside. This Sea Gull collection is well made and only wish it had a matching hanging lantern for the front porch too. Nice Light For the Price

I like the simplicity of the design and the clear glass panels. Easy to replace the bulb. I purchased one for an investment property I was renovating. I also have one at my own home that I've had 8 years so far.

Replacement Post Light

We purchased this post light to replace one that was broken in a storm. This was as close to looking like the old one that we could find. The finish is darker than our other fixtures, but close enough that it's not noticable. Hopefully it will last for a long time.

Looks nice - wouldn't buy again

Looked really nice - matched our other outdoor fixtures. Some nuts loosened over time due to weather. Lost them in the grass. Biggest disappointment - quickly tarnished surface / pitted etc. Wish it worked - again, looked nice.

you get what you pay for

Just keep that in mind folks. While the lamp is attractive from a distance, it is cheaply made and rather flimsy if any type of direct pressure is put to it. I realize that lamp post lights are decorative in nature and generally do not come into contact with much more than the occasional blowing leaf, but I seriously thought that it would have been made out of material a little stronger than an aluminum can.
