Good solid dryer plug. It was easy to mount to the concrete and looks good. Easy to plug into and will last a long time

Missing hardware

I just picked this item up from an online order. Item was NOT in any kind of packaging had dust on it making me feel it was possibly a display and did NOT come with the mounting hardware it states it should come with. Will have to now use old hardware or buy separate due to false advertisement on this site for what is SUPPOSED to be included. Also please note this does not have any screws or screw holes that hold the cover on it just slides onto it.

Installed easily, works as it should.

Rewiring and upgrade

This item works as intended and can be wall mounted.

Real cheap lugs inside. Not a very robust design at all. The tab kept slipping out of the slot. I would buy a regular 30a receptacle box and raised cover next time.

Cable exit from the top

I have to return it. As another reviewer mentioned, if one follows the picture to orient the outlet with LEVITON word at bottom, once the dryer cable is plugged in, cable will exit from the top. It is not only looking bad, but also creates the strain in the cable. I have to redo the whole thing using the electrical box so that I orient the connector correctly. Leviton needs to redesign it. It does not follow the normal 4 prongs dryer cable orientation. Did designers even install one by themself? It is a very big flaw that can be easily identified.

As usual if you need something, and can wait. eBay is the place to buy from. the local prices for this same outlet was roughly double the price for the same exact part. great quality, appears to be high quality. definitely recommend

Giving this 3 stars only because if you mount it on the wall intuitively the way its photographed here, (round hole at bottom) you will have to plug your appliance in with the cord
