Fast shipping and arrived as described. Well made and is comfortable for 2 to 3 hours of sitting (an excuse to get up and move around every hour or two which is important.) Didn't purchase the arms for the chair, but haven't needed them.

Great chair, love how high it goes and I'm happy that it doesn't have armrests. They only get in my way. The only thing that bothers me is that there's a substance on the screw of the foot rest that will put it in permanent position. I like to be able to adjust it and I'm looking at how to take it off before I tighten it.

This is an excellent office or studio chair. It is solid and made well. I has excellent Lombard back support. The instructions are great and it was very easy to assemble.

Tall enough, encourages good posture and comfy seat. I tend to move around a lot during work so the absence of arm wrests is perfect. Looks like you would be able to add some later if you wanted though. Been using it for a few weeks, we'll see if it holds up.

I forget how long I've been sitting in this Safco Chair

I sit for significant amounts of time while doing art pieces, watercolors, acrylic etc. I needed a really comfortable chair that allowed me to move about freely from one area of my studio to another without getting up. In the past I had to stop working before I wanted because I was so uncomfortable. Not any more!

Great chair overall, the unit is durable and comfortable but it is very easy for chair to come unlocked and set to lean back, which at the height of these chairs is a bit unnerving. Have put a zip tie on the lever to keep it from come unlocked.

It is too narrow and short. It doesn't go forward under my knees far enough at 340 pounds weight....

It is too narrow and short. It doesn't go forward under my knees far enough at 340 pounds weight. It feels like a stool more than a chair. The back tilts and locks but the seat under you doesn't tilt back to match. I've been trying to find one that tilts back and locks - so far all I can find lock upright or tilt all the way back with no way to lock it tilted the amount you find comfortable. I want one I can raise slightly in front under my knees and lock there. Apparently nobody makes one. I am donating this to Goodwill.
