Trop petit

J’ai acheté ceci pour le poteau de lumière dehors. L’appareil est trop petit pour le trou sensor du poteau.

Fonctionne bien et facile à installer.

Perfect fit

This little light controller works where the larger ones won't. Fit perfect and does what it says it will. Time will tell but so far, after a month, it works perfectly.

I bought this few months ago to refurbish my outdoor led lantern. I had to gut original leds and board, and original light switch could not work with 120V supply. So I installed regular E27 socket and put this switch in-line with the light. Works like a charm!

Had a dusk to dawn light over my garage door. Liked the style of the light and didn’t want to replace it. Used this to replace sensor on the old light and it works like a charm.

POWER DRAW

We typically go to the electrical store for these kind of photocells. but, saw these in Lowes and decided to give them a try. I will update this review in the future but we just got them and they look ok. A bit smaller case size then the other type we use and overall the same concept. One thing I just notices is that these are rated at 4 amps or 480 watts maximum draw, and the other type we commonly use at 8.3amps or 1800 watts. For our application 4A is plenty. hopefully they last for a long time because they are half price compared to the other ones. Only 4 starts because I have not had the chance to install and use them yet. But, will follow up in few months with additional comments.

Changed the physical size and left old picture up

The manufacturer changed the physical size of the control and the mounting hardware, but left the old picture up on Lowe's web site. This made installation more difficult. The old control shorted out after a few years with a 17W load on it. Should have lasted many years.
