Poor quality - stains like crazy! Elkay Quartz Classic 33" Drop In Double Basin Quartz Composite Kitchen Sink Model:ELG3322

Installed this sink in light beige/sand color about half year ago - what a money waste! It's a disaster - stains badly all the time, no cleaner works on these stains. Never ever had a sink so poor in quality. It's not cheap at all, plus installation (and old sink removal) costs - got a piece of junk for about $1K.

Love my sink

We purchased this sink to replace out old one. We need 4 holes to accommodate the faucet and sprayer. The pre-drilled holes worked out great, had to file around them a little but faucet fit perfect. We love the dept of each side and the center being lower to help with the cleaning of large pots/pans. Cleaning is very easy, use a little soap and water. Love the finish and that is it is scratch and heat resistant.

We love this sink. It is beautiful. The only negatives is that the matching drains are expensive and the strainers don't work very great. We also have seen some white film build up inside the bottom of one side. Using a stone countertop cleaner has resolved it, but it has to be kept up or it comes back. It doesn't change our love of the sink itself, though. We get so many compliments on it.

Sink Review

The design of the sink is very good, especially the low center divider for soaking large pots and pans. The cons are the sink seems to be somewhat porous and stains very easily. Nothing abrasive can be used to clean it. Have tried the Elka Cleaner, but it won't remove stains.

Excellent sink; sink grates a disappointment

We purchased this drop-in sink for its quality material and construction, the low divide feature, the charcoal colour and overall match with the plan for the kitchen renovation - and it has met all of our expectations. The two separately purchased matching stainless steel grates are a great disappointment, particularly given their price - the 8 perimeter rubber bumpers on each grate to protect the sink finish are forever coming off the grid -

I love my sink! Despite being the same width as the old one, it looks bigger and is bigger because of its straight sides. It's deep, and I am surprised to like the short divided between the two sinks. Delivery was weird because I received notice the sink wouldn't come until February 1 (with an offer to refund), but it came the second week in November. Unexpected so I had to quickly beg my handyman to put it in before Thanksgiving--which he did.

I was very disappointed. Its a beautiful sink however if you have a busy kitchen it is not the one to get. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but this needs to be known. I ordered a few months ago and just barely installed it (had to wait for renovations to be completed in the kitchen), within days it was stained. I have tried everything and the stains are still there and this is food stains from dishes nothing else. My apologies but I can 5 star this item at all.

I bought a black sink from PoshHaus on Home Essentials Direct during the Covid and didn't get a plumber here to install it until after our return date had expired. After our plumber took the sink out of the box he noticed a crack in it so I contacted Home Essentials Direct to see if we could get a replacement and PoshHaus said they were willing to send a replacement even though I was out of the window of returns. We have our sink now and appreciate PoshHaus willing to work with us!!!

Beautiful but difficult to punch holes out. We ended up cracking one on the side unfortunately. We glued it back and I patched it as best I could and hopefully no one will notice. I’m not sure how it could have been avoided, we were so careful. Also the matching drain for the garbage disposal was not long enough for the waist king 111 so we just used the old drains we had.

This sink is really nice. It does have a textured surface so I find myself having to clean it quite often which I wasn’t expecting to have to do. It has proved to be quite a disappointment and if I had it to do over again would not have ordered this sink. It is not a 'quartz-like- shinny, easy to wipe surface and is much trouble to keep clean. Much trouble!!

Absolutely beautiful. Matches our counter tops to perfection. Best sink I've ever bought, I think! Installed in a tenant property and survived tenants, in a property without a dishwasher, with no stains, scratches, or cracks. You cannot use bleach on it, and we instructed the tenants, but any stubborn stains come off easily with detergent or a tiny amount of Bon Ami scouring powder. I would give it more stars if I could!

Looks beautiful with our light gray and white granite, is easy to clean and the low separator makes washing large items a breeze.

Very nice sink and value for the cost. The finish is very nice and doesn't show stains at all. Punching out the holes from the back isn't difficult but takes about 10 minutes per hole if you're being careful. Easy install. I recommend this sink for sure. Only thing is we bought a fairly high faucet to go with it and I think because of the height, it splashes a lot.

We moved our old sink to a corner cabinet and replaced the old with this new black Elkay sink during our remodel. We absolutely love this sink! Everyone who sees it loves it. It's deep and the low center divider allows us to wash large items with ease. It's has sparkles in it just like our black quartz counter top. It's classy. I would highly recommend this sink!

Received the sink and from first look I fell in love! Looks like a quality sink and amazing price compared to buying it else where. My husband has not installed because we're replacing all the accessories. I'm waiting for the last two things to arrive this weekend (8/14). I will send an update and some pictures once everything in place. But based on the look quality and price I would highly recommend if you want to add bling to your kitchen!
