Support Department gave me bad advice.

I have 6 Casa Blanca fans and 2 of them only run on slow speed. I called support and was told I need to order replacement receivers. I did this and paid an electrician to replace them. There was no change. Now support wants me to disconnect the remotes completely and see how the fans work connected directly to the wall switch. I need to hire an electrician again to have this done. I’m not getting 12’ on a ladder and doing this. It’s cheaper to buy new fans than deal with this. I guess I’m out the money I paid for the replacement receivers.

We bought the Axial ceiling fan, then the receiver and remote about a week later. The receiver and remote are terrible. They functioned so poorly that I removed them and then reinstalled them, thinking I must not have properly paired the wires because of the light flickering and the remote operating the light with the fan button and being unable to adjust the fan at all. Same malfunctions as the first time. It's bad enough that the fan didn't include the remote and receiver, but spending another $60 for parts that didn't work is insulting and will definitely be something I tell people about if they're looking for a good fan.

Great looking switch.

Great item. This control system was my answer to a somewhat complicated problem. I installed smart switches in my home but two fans had two wire set ups vs the others that had two switch set ups. This switch looked the closest to my set up and was easy to install.

faulty product failed in less than a year

This thing is a piece of junk. I had it wired into my fan for ten months and it randomly just died. (Not a remote failure, i changed the batteries) and when i removed it and checked with mumtimeter it had at least one failed connection. Hard wired fan and it works fine now. Waste of $23

Controller is Junk

I bought the Lantern Bay 54-in Matte Black LED Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote (5-Blade) from Lowes. The lights would dim and the fan speed would slow or not run at all. Removed the receiver and straight wired the fan and it's working great.

Receiver should be an integral part of the fan.

The receiver is working properly. My issue is that the receiver is looked at as a separate unit from the motor wrt the warranty. The unit is not operable without the receiver unless wired to have an on position, of high fan, and on light controlled by an on/off switch at the wall. The boxed configuration therefore makes it necessary to use the remote setup. The receivers according to reviews I have seen, have failed at a greater rate than the motors; at which point have to be replaced to continue unit operation. This appears to possibly be a revenue generator for “spare parts”.

No remote. Disappointed.

No remote? Why not? It’s way too expensive to not come with a remote.

Doesn't Work

The remote control failed to pair with the remote receiver.

DOA Receiver or remote.

My wife bought our fan brand new and I installed it as I have about 50 other fans (to include ones with remotes). This one was DOA right out of the box. I ended up just wiring it straight to the switches (yes, I wired it right the first time). It looks like there are quality control issues since there are so many others who have had bad experiences.

Frustrated

Hard to love it when I don't have a remote control. I tried to order and Hunter says I'll be notified when one's available. Meanwhile, my new fan is half installed and summer's almost over.

Concerns with Quality/Reliability

It's been almost a week since I replaced my receiver. Everything is back to normal.

the support for the fan does not help. called twice on the phone 18888301326 first time waited for a call back when called back was disconnected. second time waited until operated anserwred said hello then was disconnected. replaced four fans with hunters last one the remote receiver with the light feature, light turns on stays on for min. or two turns off then back on. all fans wired same way only one out of four will not keep light on all the time can not obtain help or a new remote receiver

Works great but better if smaller

Works great, but because of its size it wasn’t the easiest thing to install in the canopy of my ceiling fan. If it was half the size it would have been better.

Disappointed

I just bought and installed fan from Lowe’s. Light turns on and off. The fan however never turns off. Remains on at all times.

Poor quality receiver!!

Bought three Hunter Dempsey fans through a reseller and they came with Model 99122 receiver/remote. The remote was supposed to provide three fan speeds and light dimming control. To date, first receiver was DOA out of the box. The second receiver "fried" when power was applied. The third receiver gave me three fan speeds, but no light dimming control.
