The water is too hot. I can’t make it a reasonable temperature, or cold. I think my diverter is defective. How do I get help?

I have used Moen posi-temp mixing valves for many years now. I had one installed in my daily shower in 2005. I sold the house in 2022 and never had a problem with it nor did it ever leak. Just installed two more in my new house. Success will mean I won't need to touch them for many years to come.

Nice looking. Good quality. Reasonable price. Requires a sizable shower space. Fairly low profile for tall person. Good spray option controls. Fairly low but adequate flow volume. Would recommend.

The plumbers didn’t recommend using this faucet valve as it is copper. They recommended that it should have been pvc to connect to the existing pvc in the shower.

Easy to install. The only disappointment is that the brushed nickel doesn’t match all of the other items in the shower. Like the corner shelves, grab bars, shower door trim, the shower sprayer, and adjustable bar. It has a yellow tint.

Completely remodeling our master bathroom down to the studs and we are doing a huge walk in shower with body sprays and dual shower heads; this will be modern while still give a romantic feel. Shower head purchased separately is the Moen Velocity Oil Rubbed Bronze 2-Function 8" Diameter Rainshower. Will update with photos once complete.

Need better shower head

This is a nice kit as it included the valve which is the primary reason i bought it. I would've like it better if it had a more powerful shower head. I wind up replacing the included showerhead with another Moen rain shower head as the included showerhead did not provide enough coverage for me (i am a relatively big guy) nor enough power for my liking.

We just had our entire master bathroom remodeled and love the new tile etc. We had installed the Brantford shower kit with 2520 valve by the contractor. 4 days after completion, this nice looking shower kit would only run full cold or full hot water. No adjustment to do with the posi temp. Had to hire a plumber and wrote a check For $90 to replace the 1222 valve, as he showed us how it was bad. The new one works now. Can’t talk to Moen, as they say to leave a number and schedule a call with them. After my wife told me about being almost burned in the shower and then paying a plumber after paying to install this new shower kit, my wife and I were both saying we are done with Moen, as it seems as no one cares. Very mad after spending over $7500 to remodel our bathroom and buying a new shower kit from Home Depot, and then having to have it repaired before it was even used. Bad product start and customer service for sure....

This product is not actually a brushed nickel color. It's got some gold undertones and doesn't match the other brushed nickel hardware in my bathroom. In addition, the sealant strip located behind the circle with knob (clearly I don't know the proper turn), was applie all askew such that I doubt it would even make a proper seal. Beautiful quality - Don't forget to order the valve

We ordered the Brantford shower head also and were very pleased with the quality. Be aware that this is a trim kit and that the valve must be ordered separately. Customer Service helped me correct my error. It did hold up our construction waiting for the valve, but worth it.

Basic Shower Handle

This is a very basic brushed nickel shower handle that comes with the valve & the water spout but no shower head. I chose to purchase this particular one because it was a reasonable price and allowed me to choose my own shower nozzle. Works as it should and looks nice. Cute: the cold & hot is indicated by a snowflake & a sun.

They are an attractive design, very well made and durable. The items were packaged and wrapped with care, unlike less expensive fixtures. No damage in shipment. UPS lost an order, but after me calling Home Depot they resolved the problem and reordered the product.

I rate this fair as the basic Moen equipment is good quality. The problem is that the included valve is only available as Model#2520 with a 1/2" CC connection with no option for Model#2510 with 1/2" IPS connection. HD refused exchange of valves because they were sold as a "set" of 2 separate items.
