3 weeks and still not working shower

3 weeks after being intalled, my shower still does not mix hot and cold water, so, I still don't have a working shower. 3 plumbers came to see what the deal is and none can make it work. At this point I think it is manufacture defect.

Very nice looking system. The Ferguson staff helped me add on a hand shower (TS3669) and ceiling mounted rain head shower and 2 additional zone controls (TS3600) to the basic system. When all the controls are installed it has a bit of a steam-punk look to it.

Sorry, but you asked

This product didn’t have specific instructions so our plumber had a terrible time retro-fitting our pipes so it could be installed. I had to work with Moen on two occasions to send additional parts so that it would fit. We are now going on three weeks without use of our shower. It’s been an extremely expensive install and we still aren’t done. We are hoping plumber can use the second round of Moen parts as well as pay for repairs to our walls.

If you like a wet shower, get this.

Nice system!

The valve is actually bigger than I need, with 3/4” connections. I didn’t realize this until it was about to be installed, or I’d have exchanged it for a smaller one and saved some money. It’s great, but designed for a commercial or spa setup with lots of outlets. The temp control and showerhead are great - I used a 16” arm instead of the standard one supplied, which worked out nicely for a rain shower effect.

This a beautiful handled, it is very sturdy and well made. I probably will be purchasing more in the future. It arrived in a very short time, I would highly recommend.

Quality Product, Need part

Well made parts by Moen. Be aware that if you use with a tub, you will need a special double elbow at the tub spout. Valve does not send water both up to shower AND down to tub. Water for shower must come from below valve IF you also have tub. Wish someone would have told me or my plumber. Now we both feel quite stupid that we did it wrong the first time! Check out photo.
