The valve is definitely heavy duty. It is rather large, but does barely fit within the confines of a standard 2x4 just barely. The main difficulty was that the threads did not seal 100%, so we had to solder all fittings together. Operationally, the product works fine. Just be careful of leaks around the threads. I would try to get a solder-type valve next time.
