Great! But not the best for frequent guest use
It was easier than some other products to install without access from above because you can remove the fan unit from the housing, mount the housing, then install the fan. It is quiet enough to be unobtrusive but has enough noise so you know it is on by the sound if your switch is not close enough to the fan to see the LEDs. I like that when you flip the switch, it goes automatically into humidity sensing mode because it saves energy that way, but to turn on the fan for ventilating odors when there is low humidity, you have to flip the switch twice with the right timing. That takes some getting used to, and it is not something that you can expect guests to figure out on their own. It is perfect for our primary bath, but I would not put it in a half bath (humidity sensing would be pointless) or a bath that guests will regularly use.
Happy with the purchase, just an FYI, the fan doesn’t do an instant start. It does a gradual approximate 10 second build up to full speed. Very quiet performance compared to the fan I replaced.
Hard to maintain - 3yrs ownership
Pros:
Nice! Fresh! Clean! Super easy installation
I've installed a few of these over the years. This installation was among the easiest. It did not include paper installation instructions, but there were a couple instructions on the outside of the box that made it easy. It is much quieter than our old fan.
Avoid them if possible!
I bought 4 of these fans for my new weekend home.

Excellent exhaust fan. Designed to mount to a stud, or with hanger bars, as in the ceiling; comes with 4 hanger bars. Very quiet fan, can hardly hear it, compared to our old unit this replaced. The black piece on top, where the exhaust pipe connects to, detaches to make installation easier. Really good instructions. Three year warranty.
Quiet - Functional
The Fan is pretty quiet when running. The auto humidity function of this fan seems to be fairly reliable to run when the room is humid. It is in a basement bathroom and so far runs most of the time and it's quiet enough we don't notice it is on. I cant really say for sure how efficient it is but I believe it is helping.

Nice and quiet. I had to cut a larger hole in the ceiling and remove the fan from the housing to install it in my finished ceiling, but after watching some videos, it wasn’t too bad. I will say it’s not a quiet as other models, but still much quieter than the contractor grade unit. I can’t hear it over the shower water.

Very easy installation matched up perfectly with the removed Nutone product so electrical box connection, exhaust tube and support were a slam dunk. The unit was much more quieter than expected and exhaust more powerful so bathroom no longer mist mirrors when showering. Great product and would highly recommend. Thank you Home Depot for providing enough product specifications in the description that I could determine an exact fit for my replacement which saved me a lot of work.

The soft start is a nice feature as is the LED letting you know it is on. It is audible when it gets to full speed, put it is considered a quiet fan. Installation was a bit more than I expected due to my old fan having a larger duct, so I had to make a trip to the store for materials and then get into the attic to replace. Other than the duct, installation was a breeze. The look is a definite upgrade. Would highly recommend on the condition of identifying the duct size in the original install.
very quiet. reasonably powerful
I love this fan. Replaced an old builder quality one. Average dBA is 47 now compared to 61 before so massive improvement on noise For those out there who own condo instead of a house this may be what you need to avoid cutting steel rafters in a drop down ceiling. If I had to choose again I would hire the installation out for condo where theres no attic access. I installed it myself successfully but as an amateur it was more difficult than some other projects.

Bought this Exhaust a few weeks ago and it is doing its work as expected. I got a small window in my bathroom next to the shower, but was not enough to ventilate all moisture out when taking warm showers, now, Got "0" moisture on the walls or mirror. Impressive product, you won't regret it...very satisfied with it.

The install of the fan went smoothly. I was replacing an existing fan of the same size, and it went right into that space. The bit that confused me for a while was the mode switch. On the Humidity Sensor version, you've got three pairs of wires; 1) Light 2) Fan 3) Mode. The Light circuit is simple enough, give it power, the light comes on. It is affected by nothing else. The Fan circuit, when energized, means that the fan will toggle between low and high speeds based on the humidity in the air. Actually, it will run until the humidity falls below the set level, and then run at full-speed for an additional ten minutes. Also worth noting that the """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""low speed"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" can be 0, turning the fan off. Very Good !, No One deserves excellent rating nowadays, so you know. Pleased w/ purchase so far, ask me in about a year from now how well it's met my expectations - I will then be able to be very truthful. Kind of wish I would maybe have purchased one with night light, not sure yet.

This fan takes forever to kick on & does not do a good job removing the moisture from our shower. It is supposed to move more air than what our old one did but it doesn’t. Husband wouldn’t let me return it bc he had to do a bunch of work to retro fit. Very disappointed.

It's quiet and does a great job moving the moist air out. I installed this 10 months ago in a 100 sqft bathroom with a vaulted ceiling and it works great at removing the humidity. It replaced a builder installed basic 50cfm fan that couldn't do the job. A certain member of our household likes to take long hot showers and would fog up the space in no time, not anymore.

I replaced an old exhaust fan that was hardly used. It was so noisy I couldn't run it and be in the room at the same time. During a bathroom update I decided to look for new exhaust fans.Noe I've heard Delta Breeze were quiet so I bought two, one for each bathroom. Love them both.

Mine failed after 3 months of light use, connected to a switch on the bathroom wall. It was only used when taking showers or to clear the air after a toilet pit stop. As an electronics engineer I took a look inside and was greatly surprised to find the circuit boards for the brushless fan motor and the main controller were not conformal coated (a thin polymeric protective film covering and sealing the components from moisture). This is an absolute necessity when applying electronics into high humidity environments. This thing is over engineered for what it does and designed to fail right from the box. After a difficult install and now removal I'm taking this back for a full refund and will find something better. What a waste of time, effort, and money. Wish I could give it 0 stars.
