Great product

We recently bought the 36 inch black version, and it looks great with the black trim shower kit and shower drain. It also doesn't take too much space, which makes it perfect for small space. Installation is also easy if you follow the steps in the video which you can find in youtube.

High price, lower quality

Product dimensions on walls and base didn't fit together nicely. Walls needed extra firring strips for proper installation. Wall material was flimsy and quality was lower than price.

Very thin wall

After completing the installation, we removed the plastic covering from the walls and were dismayed to find four cracks, two on each wall near the shelves. We contacted HomeDepot support and received a response from an agent who jokingly offered a mere 10% discount or suggested returning the kit altogether. It's frustrating because we put in so much effort, and now we have to dismantle everything to return it or deal with potential water leaks caused by the cracks. We are extremely disappointed.

Design flaw and poor instructions

All of the reviews that tell of having to reinforce behind the walls to support the flimsy walls are 100% CORRECT. The manufacture design needs to be redesigned, or the instructions need to be amended, and the reinforcing materials should be included in the packaging. The extra $$ I had to spend on the contractor to re-engineer the installation and gather materials needed was budget blowing and disappointing. They also stated that the instructions for installation were clear as mud. These fellows have been framing and installing for well over 30 years in this area, they know what they are doing. I regret this purchase for a project I have been waiting to do for 20+ years.

Great for Small Bathrooms

We bought this shower kit for an added bathroom in daughters room. We didn't have much space to add bathroom so this 32x32 round base option did the trick. My daughter is relatively small in height and size and she's able to shower conveniently. I wouldn't recommend for anyone that is large in size. I'm 6'2 and able to use this shower if needed, but found it difficult to bend over without touching door or wall. Highly recommend for smaller folks and smaller bathrooms.

My contractor found it a challenge to install as a replacement shower. It seems that it is built for new construction. But it is now installed and works well in our small vintage trailer. A great update!

Base and doors are good, walls are a disaster

I'm fairly handy; completing all the wiring, plumbing, insulation, framing, and cabinetry. The instructions for the walls are horrible; written and videos on Youtube, all different. The most painful thing about installing this unit is the walls; flimsy and cannot support themselves. To build up the back is difficult given the walls are enclosed and the depth behind the shower wall is both varied and non-standard. I'd tile the walls next time and save myself the pain of installing these walls.

Instructions were different than the instructional video. Shower walls were very flimsy. Part of the instructions were to build a wooden F frame to attach the shower walls to and one of the wall panels wouldn’t even be close enough to touch the frame to attach it. No specifics of measurements for the frame were included, you have to guess. Terrible and frustrating installation
