So pretty!

I love this light fixture. The shells are quite time consuming to put on and you have to be more careful about how you place them so they hang right (I didn't have the patience to get them to match the picture but even with its imperfections it's gorgeous!

Sadly had to return. Quality looked subpar and flimsy. The shells were pretty in color and strung nicely however the hardware seemed complicated and cumbersome to install.

Absolutely gorgeous! The important thing to know is that you do have to assemble it somewhat by hooking each of the shells together onto the frame, but it isn't hard. The shells are also fairly fragile and can chip and break, but they send extras in case a few break. And once hung, it obviously won't be incurring trauma to break further pieces. It has a gorgeous, soft glow but still bright enough to light the entryway.

I love this fixture! It provides plenty of light and it is really good looking. Probably best for a small to medium size room, might look a little lost in a large room.

Great light with a lovely design at a fair price

We just moved into a new house and the master bedroom had a horrible, integrated LED light ceiling fan that looked like a UFO. It had to go, but finding a replacement was tough. I wanted something that gave off good light (because our bedroom is about 20x13) + added some "master bedroom luxury" + didn't have a covering/dome on the bottom (because it really grosses me out when dead insects and dust start collecting in them and you can see their shadows and then to clean it out you have to take the cover off *over your bed*). This meets all those requirements! It takes 3 bulbs-great amount of light! We're using three 60-watt GE "Relax" bulbs (the 2700K temp ones) and it's just about perfect. The pictures really don't show how much light this puts out because the camera focuses on the light, but it's nice and bright. The way the light refracts through the shells is also :chef-kiss: - it makes these lovely shadows on the ceiling and walls and that look mysterious and a bit romantic. The only thing I might change about this light is that the frame, which is black, stands out against the shells a lot. I can't decide if I like it in our room or if it's too much contrast given the rest of the room. I'm considering spray painting the frame champagne gold for a little less contrast and to better match the rest of the room, but I'm going to wait and decide once I finish the rest of the room renovations.

Favorite light in the house

I love this light so much, I put it up above the staircase to the finished basement and it looks absolutely beautiful. I keep walking up and down the stairs just to gawk at it. I almost bought this same light at a local lighting store, on a whim, for double the price but because they were out of stock, I did online search and this came up! You can get it as bright as you want to, they sell chandelier LED bulbs equivalent to 100 watts. I have three 75 watt equivalent bulbs and the staircase is super bright. The shells have a yellowish tint to them so if you like your lighting on a cooler side, get bulbs that are 3,000 - 3,500K. I like that this fixture has shells that cover the bottom of the light, as opposed to other brands that have the light bulbs visible from the bottom. I installed the fixture first, then hung the shells, I think it was pretty easy to do.

Beautiful

Got this to put up in my living room and it looks great! Much less expensive than any other Capiz shell light I've seen (sized similarly)

This could use a few more capiz strands- it's not very full; you can see the bulbs very well. Good value for the money, though, as many other versions look fuller but come at a much higher price. Easy to install.
