Wow! Run one traditional can light and then this one. You’ll never go back! This Feit light needs no can and can be used in damp settings. The light last upwards of 50,000 hours! Install is a breeze! Just cut a hole in your ceiling drywall using the enclosed template. Then run your Romax wire to each of the fixtures daisychaining them together and you are done!

If you need a new light in an existing ceiling this is the way to go. You just follow the directions and cut a hole using the template provided. I used a hacksaw blade with a frameless handle. The hardest part is finding a 110volt line to tap into and running it to the hole. Now it is a simple matter to slip the wire ends into the connectors and pushing the spring tabs into the hole and the light will follow with a gentle push.

I ordered a 6 inch size 65-Watt Equivalent 3000K (warm white) White Round Flat Panel Integrated J-box recessed trim downlight and received Feit 'enhance' model 75 watt replacement (uses 12 watts) 6" integrated downlight instead. A pretty good trade in my opinion. I have been slowly but steadily replacing old recessed incandescent ceiling can lights with LED's either as they have failed or as I have remodeled/renovated each area of the downstairs of our 100+ year old house. This will go in the 4'x4' pantry off the kitchen at the end of a run. This will be the tenth or eleventh one I have done. It is by far the most compact and thus I expect it to be no more than a ten minute job tops (translation: piece of cake).

Easy to install and run lights to any room without any recessed can or junction box. Just run he wires to the location, cut out the hole/circle and connect it. You can daisy chain this and have multiple lights anywhere you want. This is especially useful for place that doesn't have clearance space for the cans. Looks great and last up to 50,000 hours so probably never have to change the lights out.
