Basic filtration that only "reduces" not removes

Spend your money elsewhere. If you read the details, Brita filters only reduce not remove contaminants. There are better options out there for the same money or less that actually get rid of 98-99% of contaminants like lead.

Great buy!

The brita seem to last longer than the generic brands. Will make your water drinkable so that you won't have to buy bottled water.

Lasts A Long Time

We like the Britta Filters as they last a lot longer than the box says with minimal decrease in quality. We still drink lots of tap water so are not worried about the odd bit of something getting through, but we find these filters can go for well over half a year before really needing to be replaced.

Gotta Have Brita

I use my Brita all the time to clean my water. I've had it for years and am happy that they keep the refill model the same so you don't have to 'upgrade' to a new model every few years.

Fair quality

These filter the water quite well so it tastes better but can often leak carbon crumbs back into the filling section of the pitcher. We are dropping this system for a more advanced one.
