Great looking light in our hallway

Sleek - doesn’t take up too much space in our low ceiling area. Not too busy or fancy. Simple design looks great in hallway.

This light looks of much higher quality than it costs. The pictures do not do it justice. It matches perfectly with the Gulliver series of progress lighting. The pictures make it appear like a lighter grey/black than it really is.

This light is great for our small back porch. Installation was extremely easy. There is a decorative cover on the plate that goes over the screw. Make sure that you tighten the nut and screw on the ceiling side, before screwing that on or it will be harder to get the light flush to the ceiling. A nice feature is that the globe doesn't have hardware or screws, but just screws in itself. We chose a warm light, as the new LED wouldn't be as nice with the style of this light.

The PROGRESS LIGHTING model # 550042 came in a properly packed box & was easy to install. The installation instructions are a simple diagram (see pictures). My thoughts after 2 weeks of using it. The Mounting bracket is a sturdy metal, The hardware seems to be of good quality & the glass looks great, however It has a small imperfection in the center caused during the creation of its shape. The clear glass is great for wanting more light or for a more decorative look. I have LED bulbs for now. I will replace them with bright decorative bulbs. The metal on this is finished, smooth & looks great. The overall quality & construction of this item is great. I love the simple twist of the glass keeps the bugs out, light protected from the elements & replacing bulbs is easy. The look & style of this will go good with many other fixtures & decor. Very nice / durable flush mount fixture.

This is a great outdoor light. It looks beautiful and sleek. It is easy to install and easy to maintain. The globe fits snug to the base to keep water and bugs and dirt out. Yet it is easy to remove and change the light bulbs. LED bulbs look great in this unit. The globe has a unique water drop look to it. The black paint is baked on for long life and makes it easy to clean.

Perfect Porch Light for Our Covered Entryway. We love this Weldon semi-flush porch light by Progress Lighting. The black metal finish is very universal and works with many style homes, ours is a traditional brick two-story. The slim appearance has a modern look but the bubble glass makes it have some character. The shade bowl is made from real glass and has a good weight to it. Super easy install if you have ever installed a light before. Does NOT include any light bulbs. We paired with two 40-watt equivalent bulbs and that gave us ample light.
