25% failure rate after four years
In 2018 I purchased eight of these fixtures for installation in covered outdoor locations. One failed and was replaced under warranty in 2020. Another has now failed, barely outside the warranty period. While I appreciate the last warranty replacement, a 25% failure rate in five years for integrated-LED fixtures seems unreasonably high. I can’t replace each one as it fails with a different type of fixture, since they all have to match each other and a coordinating ceiling fan. So I reluctantly just bought another and two extras. But I can’t say I’m happy about it. And these are the last ones—any more failures than that, and I’ll just have to bite the bullet and rip/replace them all.
