Product was damaged upon opening the box

Purchased this faucet from Amazon this past August (August 6, 2024) for a kitchen remodel. Upon opening the box, noticed that the gold-colored lever on the pre-rinse portion of the faucet had apparently fell off/broken off and was not attached to the faucet. I found no way to attach it to the faucet. Too late to return the faucet to Amazon so hopefully Krause will send a new faucet head. Kraus Artec Pro KPF-1603BGMB

DONT DO IT!!!! Don’t be suckered in by a pretty faucet with great reviews. Pay attention to the 1 and 2 star reviews. This faucet is gorgeous but totally NOT FUNCTIONAL if you actually use your sprayer to clean your sink. The sprayer does not pull down. It’s on a VERY tight spring so when you do try to pull it down you are waiting for something to snap and break. Even when I pull my hardest it barely gets down into the sink. I have a large 36 inch sink and I like to use the sprayer to spray all the debris down the drain. I can’t do it with this sprayer and literally have to move any food remnants with my hand including quinoa and rice!! Even if food gets do the drain directly below the faucet the sprayer can’t pull down far enough to get the food the last few inches into the drain. It’s driving me crazy! I bought this faucet long before my kitchen was complete so I can’t return it or I would in a hot second! Even if you have a much smaller sink you will have this problem because the sprayer cannot get anywhere close to where it needs to be to spray things down the sink. I took a video to show how ineffectual this faucet actually is but overstock doesn’t have an option for videos. It’s a shame because it really gets my point across. I did take a photo demonstrating how much the sprayer pulls down. The one positive thing I can think of is I do like the magnet on the sprayer that makes it easily latch back into place. I’m probably going to sell this on FB for half price and buy a new one. Even at half off I would not want this faucet. Not even for free.

I gave it 5 stars for KRAUS customer service. The faucet I would rate 4 stars. No real complaints. It definitely has a presence in the kitchen based on its size, and I can’t say whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing. Looking straight on, I love it. Looking side view, not as much. I will give future purchasers a heads up…make sure you are ordering the faucet you want, pull down style or non-pull down style. We definitely prefer the pull down and find it more useful. I have seen other reviewers bring up the lack of ability to fill a pot and use the spray at the same time. It would be a plus, but for the amount of times in a year that we would be looking to do both, it’s fine as it is.

Misleading item description

A beast of a faucet...

I installed the matte black/black stainless version to replace the bare bones kitchen faucet in our new home and I love it. It's super solid and appears to be really well made, no issues so far. Pictures do not do justice for how big of a beast this thing is, so make sure you know what you're getting. Also, some reviews mention the sprayer not reaching far enough, I did not have this problem at all, it reaches nearly to the bottom of our sink. My guess is that the hose counterweight is installed too far up and is preventing the sprayer from being pulled out. It's a pricey, but well worth the money.

Limited functionality related to sprayer function, unable to leave on without holding lever. Otherwise, a beautiful looking product.

Experiencing a little bit of buyer's remorse over not doing better research of functionality for this product. Enamored with the aesthetics of the product and having read a review (perhaps they brought a similar, but different product) I thought the sprayer would have the function to remain on, if wished. As an avid cook and the person doing the most dishes, I had not realized how much I used this function in my previous (non-Kraus) product. My significant other did not want this product, due to the lack of pull down sprayer and we argued that the power of the water would be able to reach the corners, and it does. Having to hold the sprayer on during dishes is a wasted task, and frankly I am so surprised that in a product of this quality, it was not thought out as necessary. I still love the way it looks with my, also new, Kraus white farmers sink, but kicking myself with every load of dishes.

I've had my new Kraus Artec Pro 2-Function faucet for a week now and I absolutely love it! I am enjoying the use of the pot filler more then I thought I would since I am using it a bit more than the sprayer. The spray has a nice feel in your hand and re-tracks back into the holder nicely and it also helps keep it out of the way when you are not using it. I had read complaints about the sprayer not being able to pull it out however, the water reaches the edges of the sink just fine. I personally wouldn't want it to come out much farther since it would cause the water to spray over the sink and would get on the floor. The look of it and function are perfect for me! I am now going to order the matching soap dispenser that sits on top of the sink. I only wish there was a water spigot available. Then all of my sink accessories would match.!
