Love It

Light was just what we were looking for. Simple, black and clear glass so it would light up our new kitchen. A dimmer switch definitely comes in handy. Seems to be well made. It's a little heavy but solid.

Unsafe design

I was disapointed with the safety of the design, you secure the base to the electric box, and then you attach the actual globe/rings which hold the glass by pushing its 3 small protrusions into 3 slots at the base and rotating it. It looks good right! Well be careful don't touch it or try to clean it because if you rotate it back ( very easy to do) , it will fall on your head! There is nothing securing it in place! I had to drill a hole at the base and put a small sheet metal screw to attach the globe to the base so it does't rotate by accident and fall on someone head. Please recall the product and fix it !

Top notch design and quality

This understated and beautifully made lamp gives needed illumination to our small galley kitchen. Just what we were looking for.

Clean and classic

Very nice update/replacement for sad builder grade boob light. Its in our den and i like it a lot. I like that it holds 3 bulbs so it can be very bright if needed. I bought another smaller one for a bedroom.

Great fixture, takes 3 regular light bulbs

This was packed well for shipping and good quality. The 16" model takes 3 regular size typical house lightbulbs. I had it installed with a dimmer switch with three 100watt equivalent LED bulbs set to 3500K in a 12x13' bedroom (8' ceilings) that gets very little natural light. This 16" round light is replacing an old 13" square light. The photo shows the bedroom with the dimmer on its max setting so I can dim it down whenever needed. I'm getting the walls and ceiling repainted soon and mini blinds changed from blue to white so forgive the current state of the room.

Looks great, but difficult install.

Beautiful fixture, but took a bit of metal bending to get the cover to twist into place. Might be difficult for less than a novice installer. One of 2 all had a small defect in the glass. Will be contacting build. Otherwise, it looks and feel like good quality materials. Wouldve been 5☆

Classic Contemporary - Beautiful and Great Quality

Ordered this fixture to coordinate with a few other Hinkley fixtures with the same finish. The brass/gold is a beautiful finish that isn't too bright, but very clean looking. Hinkley has always provided a great quality product and this fixture is no different. Shipping was fast and efficient.

This light fixture is well made and worked perfectly with our mountain modern decor. I used two for the front hall. The ceilings are high in that area so I picked a fixture that was enclosed so that I would be constantly pulling out the ladder to get 'bugs' out. We also installed them on a dimmer each light takes two bulbs and they are very bright.
