Not so great

This product came with hardware that is not fit for mounting to a ceiling. Toggle bolts are very difficult to install and line up with the holes in the mounting plate. Plus. It didn’t come with any adapters to install the pendant lights. Other brands do come with that.

Was a perfect solution to a remodel of an old single outlet ceiling light that we wanted to convert to pendant lighting. We were able to recenter it over an enlarged island and it conceals any wiring needed. We didn’t need to make any cuts into the ceiling or replaster any old markings. Very clean-cut looking and beautiful matte finish in black.

Works great for my application.

This canopy allowed me to hand 3 pendant lights in place of 2 pot lights. I spray painted it white to blend in with the fixtures. It was an open box item so the price was right.

We had imagined a vision for our dining room lighting but couldn't find it anywhere, at least for a reasonable price (a lighting store quoted us over $500!). This piece enabled us to pull the vision together and stay on budget.

Love it!! We bought an extra long dining table and our electrical outlet for the chandelier was no longer centered. We were able to install this plate on the ceiling so that the light looks like it is centered over the table without having to move the electrical outlet. Instead of being centered, we used a drill to create a hole in the tracking piece for the electrical wiring from the outlet to be off center. The outlet is actually located between the first and second light in from the right side. And then we ran wires down the plate, each a little longer, so it appears centered. Was super easy and didn’t have to do any duct or drywall work!

Worked well. Measure twice mount once.

Nice Canopy for Three Pendents

Canopy worked well to suspend three pendent fixtures by using a single ceiling electrical box. I did not want to cut into ceiling dry wall for mounting three pendants and found this long canopy which actually looks nicer than three separately hanging pendants, which can never be perfectly aligned. Canopy had an antique bronze finish which was ideal. The canopy has five mounting support holes but only used three. Canopy included extra caps for plugging the unused holes with matching bronze finish. The canopy was deep enough to conceal all wiring. The canopy includes a metal mounting bracket that attaches directly to the ceiling using provided accessory screws. The bronze canopy then mounts to the bracket for a clean concealed appearance. It would have been more ideal to use a 48" long canopy, but this canopy is only available in a 60" length.

It was exactly what I was looking for! Connected my three pendants beautifully.

This worked perfectly for our space… the original outlets over our island weren’t spaced properly and so this medallion enabled the proper placement without re-wiring new outlets!

This worked perfectly for what we needed to convert 5...

This worked perfectly for what we needed to convert 5 single pendants into one “chandelier”. It came out great. It is very secure and handled the medium weigh lights we used. However, it was very difficult to hold all 5 lights up while connecting the electric and then lining up the holes for the screws so keep that in mind when planning what lights you plan to hang from this. There is a lot of play between the canopy and the base which makes lining up the canopy with the base screws difficult. I taped toothpicks to the screws to help guide the canopy over the screws.

Good for longer kitchen islands

This item is five feet long, so it is well-suited for a longer kitchen island such as mine, which is eight feet. I drilled holes in the mounting plate so I could attach each of the round securing plates which typically come with pendant lights, then I wired three pendant lights to the common power source. Since this item comes with five holes in the canopy cover for up to five pendant lights, you will need to find a decorative plug for the holes that you do not use for pendants.
