iBox rough in valve is difficult to seal and makes high pitch noise

This was a bath remodel job. iBox rough in valve is difficult to seal compared to other brands. I had to order 4 larger diameter gaskets to seal the system. It was not easy to find the correct size (fractionally larger. I always am very careful with installing and protecting the rough-in valve boxes to ensure I don't form a leak afterwards. I always try to steer customers to other brands but must admit that they really love the clean and timeless styling of HansGrohe stuff. The shower now makes a high pitch humming noise when the water runs, which never happened with the old Moen shower valve that i removed.

Remodeled a 15 year old condo with very hard water that originally had Hansgrohe from the developer. Newer, neighboring buildings have failed plumbing fixtures after a few years, not mine. So I replaced everything with Hansgrohe again
