We absolutely love taking showers just so we can use our Kohler Avid handle and handheld sprayer! In matte black, this trim looks and feels very luxurious, weighty and rich- kind of like a five star hotel! This sets both the volume (how much water comes out) and the temperature so you only have one lever to turn. I have MS so sometimes turning knobs is an issue and this lever is very easy for me to use. We weren’t able to find matching sink faucets, so we paired it with the Kohler Taut faucets and we’re totally in love with those as well. Thank you Kohler for making luxury affordable for every homeowner!

Love this in my shower. I wish it had a way to control the pressure because the water comes out very strong.

The Avid Rite-Temp valve trim gets water stained and it's impossible to get the stains out.

Smooth and Precise

We redid our bath recently, this was the valve and trim set we chose. such a great upgrade from the plastic handle of the 70's mixing valve we had. The rotation is smooth and effortless. The ability to mix hot and cold is very precise, not one or the other. The push button diverter is large and simple to use. Add to all this a simple uncluttered appearance. This product is a winner!

High quality, perfect fit for my valve. Has correct temperature gradients from cold to hot, matching my valve exactly. Visually it has a rich durable look and the size covers the opening just as it should. Because of its round design, there is little surface for water to linger on, making it easy to maintain the finish. I purchased the Kohler fixture cleaner just to give it a good cleaning from time to time. The finish is never warranted, so it pays to spend a little extra time to keep it looking the best.
