I needed a new faucet because my relatively new glacier bay Nottely model failed. It failed because one of the connections is a small plastic clip that somehow broke off and cause a bad leak. I purchased the Glacier bay Hemming model. It still has the type of clip I mentioned, I'm not too happy about that. I thought buying a more expensive model would have better parts. With that said, this model has very good water pressure, the previous model had terrible water pressure. Also the placement on the new model has the sensor higher up on the faucet, so when cleaning the sink, it doesn't keep activating the water on and off like the previous model did. I'm very happy with this faucet, I just hope those clips do not break off again and cause a bad leak.
2 years later
Bought in September 2020, and it’s still going strong and looks brand new. We had to replace the battery once last year, which was super easy to do, and that’s it. We are on well water and have the brushed nickel color, and it never looks dirty with water spots, even if we don’t wipe it down after using it. Husband said installation was easy even for it being his first faucet. Everyone who comes over loves it.
great when it works
bought the first one in 2018 with no issue at all, and another one in 2021(moved to a new house).
Well built, 2 sensing functions, battery replacement nightmare
I wanted a touchless faucet for two reasons. First, for sanitary reasons – no more raw chicken covered hands turning on the water to wash my hands. Second, to minimize the amount of water dripped onto my counters below the handle. The pros of this faucet are: there are two sensing functions; it has the standard ‘wave’ activation, but also when you pull out the faucet, it automatically comes on. Second, it has four different spray patterns, which is two more than standard kitchen faucets; Third, the installation is straight forward – all you need is an adjustable wrench because all the connections use quick connects; Fourth, it comes with everything that you need to install it – cover plate and 4 AA batteries which are required for the sensing capability. The cons of the faucet are the sensing functions are ‘all or none’, I would like the ability to only have the wave function be turned on; Second, and this is a major one, the battery pack is ‘hung’ on either the cold or hot water supply line. This makes replacing the batteries a nightmare for my main kitchen sink. The included tiny screwdriver is used to open the battery pack at the top. Well, if it is hung off the water line it is in the back of my sink cabinet it is only about 4” from the bottom of the sink, how am I to get the tiny screwdriver into position to open the top? Forget trying to reinstall it. It would be a better design to have a longer connector cord from the battery pack to the faucet, so you could install the battery pack on the side of the cabinet to make battery replacement easier.
Works Great and Easy to Install
I installed a touchless faucet in the first home I built years ago. It was very expensive. I'm amazed how well this Glacier Bay Marcie Single-Handle Integrated Pull Down Touchless Kitchen Faucet works but is so affordable. I find this touchless faucets extremely useful. Not having to touch the faucet after handling raw meat and having water by simply pulling down the spray head is super helpful. I especially love the auto shutoff after 3 minutes. I'm always multitasking and the auto shutoff keeps me from running too much water or even worse, keeps me from overflowing the sink.
Easy install, works great
I had a little trepidation ordering this faucet, with some concern about how the features work. Not to worry, it works as good as I could have imagined it to!

not the best
I saw in a review that the handle has to be turned on in order for the sensor to work. I guess I didn't think things through and assumed they had a faulty faucet as I've used a sensor faucet that worked without the handle on. Additionally, you can't turn the faucet on and off with just the handle- so this is actually extra work. If you need to change the temperature you will have to use the sensor before using the handle. Absolutely stupid. Seems crazy that you can't use the handle as normal.
Happy with the Faucet
I got this faucet because my last one was a touch sensor and it was unreliable. I love the motion sensor on this faucet. It has worked flawlessly so far. It takes a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but it works great. You have to just make one motion towards it and trust that it reads you. If you don't trust it and you go back and forth the water is on, off, on, off, etc. Make one motion, and a 1/4 second later the water will turn on/off. My only complaint is that the base seems to have a lot of flex in it. The rubber gasket on the underside of the deck plate has a lot of cushion to it, which seems to be contributing to the flex. Other than that, the installation was easy, the fittings all seem heavy duty, and I don't have to touch anything with dirty hands while cooking. Very happy.
Nice faucet
I bought this a year ago during a great sale, and installed it myself. Although I loved the idea of a motion activated faucet, I was hesitant to buy it because I thought it may not last too long. Overall I am glad I bought this product. Minor problems I had were: 1. Slow flow of hot water. I emailed customer service and got a thorough explanation on how to solve the problem. I had to pump air into the hot water line to clear it and solved the problem. Great customer service.

I bought this faucet in March 2018 because of the low price (I got it for $139). It was pretty simple to install and worked great for a little bit, but I had multiple issues with my unit and it noticeably decreased the water pressure in our kitchen faucet. Also, if when washing larger pots, I would sometimes accidentally turn off the water with the motion sensing, which was a little annoying.
Great faucet - especially in these times...
Bought this faucet 7 months ago and finally installed it. Works great! Due to the configuration of our kitchen sink, I had to install it 'sideways' with the motion detector facing left, but that gave us the full range of motion - hot and cold - on the handle. We don't have an issue with the 'sideways' mounting. I also switched the little red/blue - hot/cold - indicator so that hot is on the left and cold on the right, as is customary here. I connected the red hose to the cold supply and the blue hose to hot supply - no issues there either. Our water supply valves come up from the floor and the supply line hoses that came with the faucet were too short to reach. I took a trip to Home Depot and “MacGyvered” two extensions which worked just fine.

I would have given this a 5 star review were it not for the fact that the hoses and electrical connections are too short. In my case I was installing on a corner mount double kitchen sink. The supply line connections were too short and I had to add 12 inch extensions and coupling to each. The water and electrical connection to the control box are also too short. I had to mount the control box almost level with the bottom of the sink for the electrical connection to reach and the same with the faucet to control box water line. Because of the location of the control box, the sprayer connection is too short and only allows the sprayer to be pulled out about 8 inches. Due to the proprietary looking connectors to the control box, I am unable to extend these. Given that the control box is now mounted on the rear wall just to make it work, changing the batteries when the time comes is going to be a real pain. All this said, the unit itself is great. Just wish they offered extension hoses and electrical wire for the control box connections. If you are installing this on an "against the wall" type of situation, you should be just fine.
LOVE this faucet.
I previously had a touch faucet and loved it, but an expensive valve went out on that faucet and it was cheaper to replace the entire faucet. I opted for this one because of the price and was concerned that I would like the touchless feature as much as the touch faucet. After only a day of use, I prefer the touchless feature as I have the chrome faucet and don't need to wipe off fingerprints like I did on the touch faucet. I was concerned that it would automatically turn on when a pot or any similar item was in the sink, but it's not that sensitive. The plumber installing the faucet discovered that a small clip on the weight was broken and I called customer service. They couldn't have been more helpful and a new weight part is on the way. We were able to tape the weight together and that works just fine. Very pleased with customer service and LOVE the faucet.

This was purchased on a "Speial Buy of the Day" at a fantastic price, which I recieve via my email. The unit was delivered with free shipping, rapidly to my front door in a well packaged box and even a nice bag for it. We never thought about buying hand motion activated kitchen faucet, but after reading all the great reviews on this one and the great price we gave it a try. Then we realized how useful the motion activation was to us while cooking. Since every time you want to rinse your hands while you are preparing food it makes it possible not to cross contaminate the turn on fixtures. It works marvelously after getting used to having it there. The faucet was also easy for my husband to install and looks like a "million bucks" on our sink (we got the brushed nickel one). Going to buy another one for a second house we have because we're so pleased. Thank You for giving us "The Power of the Home Depot"!

I was skeptical about automatic water dispensing faucets but decided to give this one a try because I got it for half price during the holiday sales period.
Perfect no touch sink faucet
I always liked the spray faucets that had the sprayer in the head. And when I tried a friends that had the motion sensor I absolutely fell in love. So I shopped around for a while and I found this one. Can you say that you're in love with a faucet? Well I am. Easy installation, and super to use. There's a motion sensor down at the base so it goes on when you're in front of it coming on when you pull down the sprayer. I got the brushed nickel finish to match the brushed stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. I have been I have been watching them to catch one on sale, and happened to catch this one on sale which makes it a double bonus. One of the nice things about touchless faucets as you don't have to worry about spreading germs by touching the icky handles. I think that's one of the biggest reasons to have a no touch motion sensor faucet, it helps keep you from spreading germs and bacteria around your kitchen. If for no other reason than to help reduce the spread of germs and bacteria this is the thing to get

It has been 7+ months since my purchase and I have no regrets taking a leap of faith on this facet! The features are awesome and work flawlessly. They made the sensor so your hand has to be in proximity to turn it on or off. It works very well and only takes a very fast movement in front of it. You can leave the temperature handle at you desire temperature and flow amount. That way all you need to do is wave your hand to get the water turned on. The feature where you pull the spout down and back to turn the water on and off is tremendous. I never realized how much more efficient things in the kitchen could be with a faucet like this. Well, that's why I got it but didn't realize it would make this much of a positive difference. It took more time removing the old faucet than it did to install the new one. It took us a day to get used to not turning the temperature handle at all and just waving our hands to turn on and off. Wave to turn on and wave again to turn off. Otherwise it will stay on for 3 mins. You can set it to act as a “normal” faucet without the sensor, but what’s the point in doing that! My three year old even understands how to use it now! My wife is constant whipping up amazing dinners and the hands free facet has done wonders for her.

This is a decently priced, attractive, mid-range faucet that just happens to have a hands-free option. The faucet turns on and off smoothy and has a full range swivel. The hands-free is accomplished with a motion detection eye. The eye is somewhat finicky and frequently requires you to nearly touch it to turn on. Other times it will randomly switch on when you reach past it causing the occasional soaked sleeve. Also, it turns off when you replace the sprayer, which is awkward when you're cleaning up because you have to keep turning it back on. The sprayer hose is rather short and stiff which is my least favorite part of the system. The battery pack which runs the hands-free has a short data cable teather which means that it has to be placed at the back of your cupboard near the rest of the works. This will mean that when the batteries die you will have to empty the cupboard to get to it. The hands-free can be turned completely off at the battery pack if you want to use it as a regular faucet, but for me, it works well enough and is so much less expensive than the other one advertised on television. All in all, this is a decent system for a decent price.
